CLARK, FREEPORT—On February 19, 2026, Yokohama Tire Philippines, Inc. (YTPI), through its Public Relations-Community Service Relations (PR-CSR) Team, invited all its esteemed media partners for an evening of fellowship and to honor their valued partnership and continued support, held at Ristorante di Verona in Swissôtel Clark.

This meaningful gathering recognized the commendable efforts and contributions of YTPI’s media partners in amplifying the company’s numerous sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts through their respective platforms for both print and social media.

Gracing the event were YTPI’s key officials, led by President and CEO Atsushi Funayama. Joining them were various media organizations from Clark Development Corporation, Central Luzon Media Association Pampanga Chapter, and Pampanga Press Club.

During the program, Vice President for Plant Operations Division Jose Cansino, Jr. presented the status and overview of YTPI’s New Facility Expansion Project, which commenced operations in 2025. Meanwhile, Corporate Planning and Business Operations Department Manager Geraldine Bautista shared the company’s successful CSR initiatives for the Year 2025.

Among the major highlights of the evening was the soft launch of YTPI’s 30th Anniversary celebration, also revealing their brand-new logo representing 3 decades in the industry.

With unwavering passion and dedication, this momentous occasion reaffirms YTPI’s commitment to foster harmonious collaboration with its media partners, highlighting camaraderie while leading continuous growth for the local community.

Yokohama Tire Philippines, Inc. (YTPI) successfully conducted the Tree Planting Activity (FF6) on December 19, 2025, through its Environmental Management Section (EMS), led by Reynante Legion, EMS Section Manager, following their initial Tree Planting Activity which was also held earlier this year.

YTPI executives including Masatsugu Nishimon, Executive Vice President (EVP) for Administration Division; Angelina Casasola, VP for Administration Division; and Geraldine Bautista, Corporate Planning and Business Operations Department Manager, alongside thirty (30) selected employees from varying departments, volunteered their time and effort to support the company’s continuing commitment towards environmental sustainability.

The event officially commenced through a group assembly and a safety briefing to execute the Tree Planting Activity, followed by the opening remarks delivered by Ms. Bautista, who emphasized the importance of environmental stewardship. Participants were then divided and guided through the event, ensuring proper planting techniques and adherence to safety reminders, concluding with a total of 300 seedlings planted, with varieties that included small trees such as Bignay and Banaba; medium trees such as Fire Tree and Bitaog; and large trees such as Narra and Kalumpit, among many others.

Through their collective action and teamwork, this activity reinforced YTPI’s dedication to protecting and nurturing green spaces within the Plant’s vicinity, which does not only contribute to biodiversity and environmental preservation, but also strengthens employee engagement and promotes a shared responsibility towards building a more sustainable future.

The Tree Planting Activity stands as another meaningful step in YTPI’s ongoing environmental efforts, reflecting the company’s undying commitment to sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and care for future generations.

𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐎𝐧! 𝐘𝐓𝐏𝐈 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐭𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭

CLARK FREEPORT — Cheers, excitement, and team spirit filled the air as Yokohama Tire Philippines, Inc. (YTPI) officially opened its newly improved Basketball Court Facility on December 05, 2025. The event marked a proud milestone in YTPI’s ongoing commitment to promoting employee well-being, camaraderie, and an active workplace culture.

The celebration began with the facility blessing led by Rev. Fr. Emil Guiao of Holy Cross Parish, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony, formally opening the facility for employee use. The event was attended by YTPI executives and leaders, including Ms. Angelina Casasola, Vice President for Administration Division; Ms. Cynthia Valencia, Department Manager for Production Planning and Inventory Control; Mr. Rodel Dural, Department Manager for Manufacturing 2; Ms. Geraldine Bautista, Department Manager for Corporate Planning and Business Operations; and Ms. Eden Mago, Section Manager for Public Relations and General Services.

Adding excitement to the occasion was a friendly exhibition game between the Plant Operations Division and the Administration Division, with employees from various departments cheering from the sidelines. The match highlighted teamwork, sportsmanship, and strong sense of unity among Yokohama employees.

The newly upgraded basketball court offers a significant improvement from the previous facility. Employees can now enjoy an enhanced hardwood playing surface, better indoor air quality through improved ventilation, and newly constructed comfort rooms with a dedicated handwashing area. Safety and comfort were further prioritized with the installation of new backboards and basketball rings, padded walls, and wall-mounted fans, creating a more secure and enjoyable space for all.

With the opening of this modern sports facility, YTPI once again demonstrates that investing in employee wellness goes beyond the workplace. It is a celebration of health, teamwork, and a shared commitment to building a stronger, more energized YTPI community.

BULACAN – On December 03, 2025, Yokohama Tire Philippines, Inc. (YTPI) was given recognition for its valuable contributions as one of Bulacan State University’s (BulSU) esteemed benefactors, providing generous support and assistance to their students for better education, held at the institution’s E-Library 7th Floor Function Hall in Malolos, Bulacan.

The company’s Public Relations-Community Service Relations (PR-CSR) Team graciously accepted the Plaque of Appreciation, led by Eden Mago, Public Relations and General Services (PRGS) Section Manager.

This special celebration was hosted by the university to honor their partners’ unwavering support and outstanding dedication in promoting quality education, leading significant initiatives to make it accessible to the local community, especially those beyond reach.
Being the latest addition to the company’s various partner institutions in Central Luzon, YTPI currently sponsors two (2) Engineering students enrolled in BulSU.

YTPI continues to strengthen its Scholarship Program as one of its flagship initiatives under “𝘠𝘰𝘬𝘰𝘩𝘢𝘮𝘢 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘴”— continuously devoting its resources to foster high quality education to locally deserving and underprivileged students.

As the season of giving approaches, 200 Aeta children celebrated an early Christmas with the Yokohama Tire Philippines, Inc. (YTPI) family on December 04, 2025, at Villa Maria Elementary School (VMES) in Porac, Pampanga.

This joyous event was organized by the Public Relations - Community Service Relations (PR-CSR) Team, led by Geraldine Bautista, Corporate Planning and Business Operations Department Manager; joined by Angelina Casasola, Vice President for Administration Division, alongside various employee-volunteers.

With generosity and compassion from the hearts of the YTPI community through the “𝘚𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘰𝘳-𝘈-𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮”, the Aeta children, from Kinder to Grade 5, enthusiastically received their Christmas gifts consisting of backpacks, slippers, umbrellas, towels, tumblers, and vitamins, among others.

The simple program also included parlor games and scrumptious food meals from Jollibee. Lighting up the event, the Aeta children cheerfully sang and danced together with the YTPI representatives and employee-volunteers.

This marks YTPI’s second Christmas outreach program for the Aeta community beginning last year, continuing its commitment to corporate social responsibility.

Angeles City – To show its unwavering support in improving the resources of its partner schools, Yokohama Tire Philippines, Inc. (YTPI) proudly conducted 2 meaningful environmental activities at Tacondo Elementary School (TES) on November 25, 2025, namely:

1. 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
YTPI shared its best practices on proper waste segregation with 40 enthusiastic learners from Grades 4 to 6. As part of the initiative, the company donated 15 color-coded trash bins to help students properly sort and dispose of their waste. These small steps pave the way for a cleaner and greener school environment.

2. “𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧” 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞
To help reduce heat inside the classrooms, YTPI installed 8 units of trellis in areas exposed to direct sunlight. 16 learners took part in planting Yellow Bells, which will soon grow into a natural green curtain, providing shade and helping cool down the school’s surroundings during the hot season.

These activities were successfully led by Geraldine Bautista, Corporate Planning and Business Department Manager and Reynante Legion, Environmental Management Section Manager, joined by the enthusiastic participation of the grade school learners.

With such initiatives, YTPI is continuously motivated to build greener and more sustainable communities together.
