We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trainer for Onboarding & Process Training to join our growing Training Team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality onboarding and process training for new Virtual Assistants (VAs), ensuring they have the skills, confidence, and readiness to perform effectively from day one. You will develop and maintain training materials, facilitate assessments, and drive continuous improvement to support client satisfaction and long-term retention.
This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership potential, analytical skills, and a proactive mindset, who can act as a trusted “second brain” to Operations and help shape the future of our training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Onboarding & Process Training
Facilitate structured onboarding sessions for new VAs, ensuring clear communication of role expectations, workflows, and performance standards.
Deliver end-to-end process training, covering system navigation, loan processing workflows, compliance requirements, and scenario-based exercises.
Work closely with the Training Team and SMEs to continuously improve training programs by:
Developing and maintaining LP process “how-to” videos.
Reviewing and updating all LP training materials, including guides, workflows, SOPs, and templates.
2. Training Content, Delivery & Assessment
Review client profile sheets before training to ensure all tasks and client-specific processes are covered.
Conduct assessments using quizzes, practical exercises, mock workflows, and evaluation rubrics to measure trainee readiness.
Provide hands-on coaching to reinforce learning and ensure accurate task ex*****on.
Maintain training standards, identify performance gaps, and coordinate additional coaching as needed.
3. Training Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
Gather, analyze, and summarize trainee feedback from post-training surveys.
Conduct debriefs with SMEs and Operations to review outcomes, improvement areas, and required content updates.
Recommend and implement enhancements to training content, delivery, and assessments.
4. VA Check-In & Reporting
Conduct first-month check-ins with newly onboarded VAs to assess progress, readiness, and alignment with client expectations.
Prepare and submit detailed check-in reports to the Management Team, including performance observations, risks, and recommended support actions.
5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment
Work closely with Operations, SMEs, and Team Leaders to ensure training reflects current processes and client requirements.
Communicate training outcomes, risks, and recommendations proactively to key stakeholders.
Qualifications & Core Competencies
1. Proven experience in training, coaching, or mentoring, preferably in VA, operations, or loan processing environments.
2. Strong leadership potential and analytical skills.
3. Strong initiative and ability to act independently and proactively.
4. Proactive collaboration and stakeholder alignment skills.
5. Excellent oral and written communication, with the ability to simplify complex processes for diverse learners.
6. High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and workflows.
7. Expertise in LP workflows, system navigation, and client-specific processes preferred.
8. Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for optimizing processes and training outcomes.
9. Preferred but not required: Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking.
