We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a fast-growing Australian-based company specializing in bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing, and talent acquisition services. As a Xero Partner, they provide cloud-based bookkeeping solutions to businesses across Australia. They are now looking for a Finance & Admin Officer to join their team of dedicated professionals.

Your Role:
As the Finance & Admin Officer, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance, and supporting business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
✓Accounts Payable & Receivable – Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
✓Payroll & Invoicing – Assist with payroll processing and invoicing.
✓Financial Reporting – Prepare profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
✓End-of-Month Journal Entries – ✓Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
✓Compliance & Risk Management – ✓Prepare BAS/PAYG reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
✓Administrative Support – Assist the management team with administrative tasks.
✓Excel & Accounting Software ✓Proficiency – Utilize advanced Excel and cloud-based accounting tools.
What We’re Looking For:
✓Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
✓Minimum of 4 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience.
✓Proficiency in Xero, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel), and cloud-based accounting tools.
✓Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
✓Tech-savvy, with experience using GSuite, Zoom, Hubdoc, Dext, and XPM.
✓Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities As you will be communicating directly with our clients.
