From a very humble beginning, Royal Star grew by leaps and bounds into a full-service retail company that is today. The first store was established by Angelito and Teresita Lazaro in 1975 beside the Calamba Central School with a handful of small items and a couple of appliances. Royal Star since then grew into the 57-branch network it is today. Driven by the desire to make electronic and home appl

iance available to the Southern Tagalog families, Royal Star was developed based on a very strong customer oriented and one-on-one personal selling. This has made Royal Star the largest appliance retail chain in Southern Luzon and Southern Tagalog, dominating the markets in Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Quezon and Mindoro. With this strong base, Royal Star expanded towards the towns of Rizal and at the last quarter of 2001, into the largest and most complicated market of Metro Manila. This was done with no less than 7 branches to become the fastest growing appliance dealer in Metro Manila and Rizal Area. In recent years, Royal Star has also ventured into expanding the product categories it offers with the inclusion of furniture, motorcycles and computer products.

3.) Checks accuracy of encoding by comparing details in the sales invoices with details indicated in the computerized monthly branch sales reports.
4.) Ensures daily deposit of branch collections by matching the daily remittance reports and official receipts with the deposit slips and passbooks.
5.) Encodes sales adjustments such as rebates, sales discounts and sales returns based on rebate slips, sales return report and receiving report.
6.) Assigns expense account codes for branches’ petty cash disbursements and encodes such petty cash vouchers to be able to generate a petty cash fund replenishment summary.
7.) Reconciliation of costing (Sales Report versus Issued Book)
8.) Gross Profit Analysis of assigned stores.

- Prepare daily reports including remittance reports and maintain updated office records
- Strictly adhere to company guidelines on cash handling, disbursements, and petty cash management
- Contribute to store success through additional tasks as assigned by management
