New leadership at the Department of Migrant Workers ,Officer-in-Charge Hans Leo Cacdac.

"Ultimately, we bear the honest belief that our President's love and overwhelming mandate for OFWs is an opportunity to develop and implement programs that shall better serve and protect them. The collective effort of our DMW Family will continue building and strengthening our Department — Ang Tahanan ng OFW," Cacdac added.

NEWLY appointed Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Officer in Charge Hans Leo Cacdac on Friday revealed the agency's key priorities as he assumed his new post.

It is with great sadness that the Department of Migrant Workers announces the passing of our dearest Secretary Susan “T***s” Ople.

Secretary T***s peacefully joined our Creator at around 1PM today, August 22, 2023 surrounded by her family and loved ones.

We shall be releasing more details soon. For the meantime, we ask for prayers for the eternal repose of the soul of our dear Sec. T***s.

We ask as well for prayers for the Ople family.

We are happy to announce a milestone in our journey towards becoming a POEA-licensed recruitment agency as the The Job Seekers Recruitment Agency held its Office Inauguration and Blessing last August 8,2023 at its new office in Cagayan de Oro City.

The occasion was graced by the Chairman of the Board and its current President, Mr. Joel M. Pilones, the Corporate Secretary, Mr. Marty Ven Turtosa , Corporate Treasurer, Ms. Jevie G. Cardino, its Account Officer,Ms. Cristine Pilones and the managing consultant,Ms. Lorelyn T. Dumaug.

It was a joyous occasion attended by the members of the Board of Trustees of the Bloomingdale Homeowners Association,Inc headed by its President Roderico Y. Dumaug, Jr. who delivered a message of solidarity. In like manner, the Punong Barangay of Iponan, Honorable Maximo Allorin joined the momentous event and assured everyone present his dedication to provide security for the homeowners and those who are conducting business in the area.

President Pilones mentioned in his speech that this occasion is another milestone that meant to be highlighted as he enjoined everyone present to help us pray that we will be licensed next year so we could start the recruitment of future nurses abroad for Germany and skilled workers for Japan to provide decent and dignified work abroad for the job seekers here in Mindanao as our partners in these countries await for our full operation.

The ceremony started with the blessing of Fr.Madz Tumbali, the University Chaplain of Xavier University, the ribbon was cut by the President Pilones,followed by an early dinner.

Before the program started, another priest from San Guillermo Parish arrived, Fr. Olivier Ugwu, to bless the officers and partners of this endeavor.

Future partners from Japan joined us in spirit by lavishing the occasion with food and flowers and from Germany with a message of solidarity.
