Dear Hiring Managers,
Please stop posting unrealistic jobs.
Like asking for 5 years of experience just for entry-level positions.
If you're proud of being a transparent company, post the salary.
If you're looking for remote employees, stop asking them to come to the office.
Instead, let's cultivate an environment of honesty. List the actual requirements, not the ideal ones. Recognize that skills can be taught and potential can be nurtured in the right conditions.
Exceptional talent is not just found in years of experience but in the ability to adapt, learn, and grow.
Don't diminish the value of a role by inflating its requirements. Value potential. Value 'fit'. Value honesty.
Let's do better. For the sake of your future employees and for the integrity of your own organization.
