𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜: 𝗗𝗔𝗥 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗧.

DAR Caraga Region, led by Regional Director Atty. Merlita S. Capinpuyan, spearheaded the Inter-Agency Coordination Meeting with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the Registry of Deeds (ROD) on September 9–10, 2026, at Fortezza de Paula, Manapa, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte.

The activity seeks to strengthen inter-agency coordination and address implementation concerns related to the parcelization, registration, and issuance of individual land titles to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) under Project SPLIT (Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling).

Also in attendance was OIC-Assistant Regional Director for Operations Engr. Loida L. Jones, together with other DAR officials and employees and representatives from the DENR and ROD.

As RD Capinpuyan emphasized in an earlier statement on the project, “DAR is in full force to effectively complete the implementation of Project SPLIT for the ARBs. This is good news, especially to the farmers, since more of them will become landowners.”

Project SPLIT is a flagship DAR initiative, supported by the World Bank, that facilitates the conversion of collective land awards into individual land titles, thereby strengthening the security of tenure and property rights of ARBs.

Taun-taon tuwing ikawalo ng Setyembre, ipinagdiriwang natin ang Pista ng Kapanganakan ng ating Mahal na Birheng Maria, isang araw upang alalahanin ang kanyang buhay na naging huwaran ng pananampalataya, kababaang-loob, at buong-pusong pagtugon sa kalooban ng Diyos.

Sa kanyang pagiging Ina, ipinakita ni Maria ang tahimik ngunit matatag na pagmamahal at malasakit na patuloy na nagbibigay-inspirasyon sa atin. Ang kanyang buhay ay paalala na ang tunay na paglilingkod ay nagmumula sa pusong handang umunawa, tumulong, at magbigay ng pag-asa sa kapwa.

Sa araw ng kanyang kapanganakan, hilingin natin ang kanyang panalangin at paggabay para sa ating mga pamilya, mga komunidad, at sa ating bayan. Nawa’y patuloy tayong gabayan ni Maria na maging instrumento ng kabutihan, pagkalinga, at pag-asa para sa bawat isa.

DAR Caraga would like to resoundingly congratulate our newly promoted Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer (PARPO) II Jerry R. Villason of DAR Surigao del Sur.

As you took your oath before Sec Conrado Estrella III, your journey of climbing up the ranks is truly inspiring for any civil servant. What once was a man who started as a utility personnel is now a full fledged head of office of the province.

DAR Caraga, under the leadership of Regional Director Atty. Merlita S. Capinpuyan, is conducting the Assessment/Document Review of Landholdings Targeted for Agri-Agra and Action Planning Workshop on September 7–9, 2026, at Fortezza de Paula, Manapa, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte.

The 3-day activity focuses on strengthening the preparation and coordination of DAR Caraga personnel for the implementation of the Agri-Agra initiative, particularly through the assessment of identified landholdings and the review of DNYD/P folders and relevant supporting documents.

RD Atty. Merlita S. Capinpuyan emphasized the importance of the activity in ensuring that the necessary preparations and documentation are in place, stating: “The activity provided essential orientation and preparation for the implementation of Agri-Agra, while facilitating the review and assessment of DNYD/P folders and relevant supporting documents.”

The 2026 Regionwide Team Building and Employees Wellness cm Lecture on Water Safety and Heat-Related Illness Prevention of DAR Caraga brought together DAR Caraga personnel for a memorable experience centered on team spirit, employee well-being, and a safer workplace.

From exciting team-building challenges to insightful wellness sessions, the activity reminded us that a strong organization begins with healthy, connected, and empowered people.

The final two days of the 2026 Regionwide DAR Caraga Team Building and Employees Wellness Activity brought employees together in a spirited mix of team challenges, recreational activities, and wellness initiatives. Beyond the friendly competition, the activities fostered camaraderie, trust, cooperation, and a deeper appreciation of the importance of working as one team.

As the three-day gathering came to a close, employees returned to their respective roles with renewed energy and strengthened connections, carrying with them not only memories of the activity, but also a greater sense of unity and shared purpose in serving the Department’s stakeholders.

On August 27-29, 2026, DAR Caraga strengthened its employee relations, wellness, and safety through a regionwide team building cm lecture at Cagwait, Surigao del Sur.

Designed to foster a stronger and more cohesive workforce, the activity provided employees with opportunities to step beyond their usual work routines, build rapport with colleagues, and reinforce the value of teamwork, communication, cooperation, and mutual support in achieving the Department’s mandate.

The activity likewise underscored that employee well-being is integral to an effective public service. Through the lecture on water safety and the prevention of heat-related illnesses, participants were provided with practical knowledge on recognizing potential health and safety risks, taking appropriate preventive measures, and responding responsibly to situations that may arise during work and recreational activities.

As DAR Caraga continues to advance its programs and services, the Department likewise remains committed to cultivating a workplace where employees are connected as a team, mindful of one another’s well-being, and prepared to serve with renewed purpose.
