DAR Caraga Region, led by Regional Director Atty. Merlita S. Capinpuyan, spearheaded the Inter-Agency Coordination Meeting with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the Registry of Deeds (ROD) on September 9โ10, 2026, at Fortezza de Paula, Manapa, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte.
The activity seeks to strengthen inter-agency coordination and address implementation concerns related to the parcelization, registration, and issuance of individual land titles to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) under Project SPLIT (Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling).
Also in attendance was OIC-Assistant Regional Director for Operations Engr. Loida L. Jones, together with other DAR officials and employees and representatives from the DENR and ROD.
As RD Capinpuyan emphasized in an earlier statement on the project, โDAR is in full force to effectively complete the implementation of Project SPLIT for the ARBs. This is good news, especially to the farmers, since more of them will become landowners.โ
Project SPLIT is a flagship DAR initiative, supported by the World Bank, that facilitates the conversion of collective land awards into individual land titles, thereby strengthening the security of tenure and property rights of ARBs.
