Job Description: Paralegal – Election Law
Location: Biñan City, Laguna
Employment Type: Full-time
The Paralegal for Election Law will provide legal and administrative support to lawyers and legal teams handling election-related matters. The role involves research, documentation, compliance monitoring, and coordination with government agencies to ensure adherence to Philippine election laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in handling election law cases, disputes, and compliance matters.
Conduct legal research on Philippine election laws, COMELEC rules, resolutions, and related jurisprudence.
Prepare, review, and organize legal documents such as pleadings, affidavits, complaints, memoranda, and compliance reports.
Monitor election-related deadlines, filings, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with COMELEC offices, local government units, and other relevant agencies.
Maintain accurate records of election cases, evidence, and legal correspondence.
Support activities related to voter education, campaign compliance, and electoral processes, when required.
Perform administrative and clerical tasks necessary to support legal operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Political Science, Public Administration, or any related course.
Paralegal training or certification is an advantage.
At least 1–2 years of experience in legal or paralegal work; experience in election law, political law, or public law is highly preferred.
Knowledge of Philippine election laws, COMELEC rules, and legal procedures.
Strong legal research, writing, and documentation skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and basic legal research tools.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Willing to be assigned and work on-site in Biñan, Laguna and work extended hours during election periods if necessary.
