With heavy rains affecting the country, many Filipinos are once again facing floods, dangerous commutes, and disrupted lives. For those of us who can work from home, this is a moment to pause and recognize the privilege we hold: the ability to keep earning a living without risking our safety, while so many others don't have that same option.

Gratitude for this privilege should move us beyond comfort. It should move us toward stewardship. When communities flood and families lose homes or livelihoods, it's a reminder that everyone entrusted with a role in society, whether in leadership, infrastructure, public service, or community care, carries a responsibility to act. Keeping people safe during the rainy season isn't optional; it's the bare minimum of what stewardship demands.

Let's use our privilege not just to stay dry, but to advocate, support, and hold space for those who can't say the same. 🕊

Coffee Break! ☕ We asked: What's a common workplace term that makes you go "huh?"

Corporate jargon is its own language. An accountant and an HR person picture two completely different things when you say "reconciliation." Tell someone from Data Science you need a "POC" and they might think you want to test an idea instead of a Point of Contact. 😅 That's why context matters when using jargon!

To test and broaden our jargon vocab, our director for Data Science, Van, got to the bottom of corporate jargons and translated each of them in layman's terms.

We're now ready to circle back, align our messaging, and synergize with our stakeholders with full confidence. Consider this our bandwidth upgrade for cross-functional communication. No more getting lost in translation! 👏

🚀 WE'RE HIRING: ERP Technical Consultant (Early Shift)

Are you passionate about ERP systems, scripting, and integrations? We're looking for an ERP Technical Consultant to join our growing team!

Qualifications:
🎓 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
💼 At least 3 years of experience in ERP systems scripting in NetSuite, or other systems such as Salesforce, SAP, and other similar systems.
⚙️ Experience with ERP modules and APIs (SuiteApps, SuiteScript, TypeScript, OpenAPI, Workflows, etc.).
🔗 Strong understanding of APIs (SuiteScript, REST, etc.).
✅ Proven track record of successful development of ERP scripts, workflows, and integrations.
🔄 Familiarity with ERP systems integrations (Avalara, Brex, REST, etc.).
🛠️ Experience working with middleware platforms such as Celigo and Dell Boomi, including designing, implementing, and managing integrations between systems.
🗣️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with project leads and team members at all levels.
💻 Strong coding and development skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
🔍 Ability to troubleshoot and resolve code, integrations, and workflows effectively, with keen attention to detail.
📋 Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
🌟 ERP certifications (e.g., NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant) are a plus.
🤖 Knowledge and/or experience with AI Tools (Claude, Parabola, etc.) and MCP systems are a plus.
🕒 Willingness to work the early shift (3:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Tuesday to Saturday).
