⛳ IT’S OFFICIAL and we’ve done it! We broke the record for the most money raised yet for the 84 - Big Buddy Golf Day with a final figure of $39,007 !!! 💰
We’re beyond proud of what this means for more little buddy's. Thank you to all 21 teams who participated, thank you to all the donors and sponsor who made the day possible, especially our major partners Johnston Associates, Giltrap Group, Fantail & Turtle, Ray White and ONBOARD & Insurance and Urbanaut, without you all this result would not have been possible.
Congratulations to our TOP 3 teams on the day - Ockham Residential in 3rd, Ray White Mairangi Bay in 2nd and massive congratulations to our winners US Tax Professionals Ltd.NZ who were honoured to be given the iconic BB Golf Day Trophy and the coveted “GREY” Jackets by Chairman Travis Field and Mark Fisher wearing the GREEN jackets (of course).
Massive thanks to all the team at Wainui Golf and Function Centre including Mike Duncumb for hosting us once again, to the team at Big Buddy Mentoring Trust Christie Stuart and Jenni Harrison, plus trustees Grant Fox and Shaun Quincey Quincy, Grieg Mooney (longest drive champ), and of course our 84 Recruitment most importantly Mairead Sutton and all our team for all your efforts to support hosting the day.
It was one hell of a wet but successful day!! ☔ 💲 🏌♂️ 🏌♀️ ✅ Incredibly proud of this result, raising money in any climate is hard - but this year was particularly hard so coming away with a record is just bloody epic - we’re so lucky to be surrounded by such generous humans!
One of the things I’m most proud of is that during the evening we had 2 new Big Buddys come forward to join the mentoring programme and change the lives of two special boys very shortly, life changing!
Absolutely stoked to see the success of this day gain more momentum. Watch this space, next year is already in the planning stages and will be better than ever.
