☕ Coffee for a Cause! ☕

Our Tourism & Hospitality cohort recently hosted a beautiful kaupapa here at WACT!
Kaimahi donated essential items like toiletries and non-perishable kai and, in return, enjoyed a delicious coffee made by our talented cohort.

All donated items were gifted to Rotorua Charitable Trust, who ensure these essentials reach our whānau in the community.

Ngā mihi nui to everyone who contributed

Mau Mahi, Mau Motuhake Work Experience!

Last week, our rangatahi spent the day at Horohoro farm block gaining valuable hands-on building and construction experience. They rolled up their sleeves to build a worm farm, plant trees, and even lay some concrete!

Ngā mihi nui ki a Dean rāua ko Teresa Paul for opening your whenua and sharing this amazing opportunity – nurturing skills, strengthening connections to the land, and creating future pathways for our rangatahi.
