🎉👏 Celebrating 5 Years of Service! 👏🎉

Congratulations to Hayden Willis on 5 years of service with TDM Construction!

Hayden joined TDM in June 2021 as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic and has been looking after our heavy diesel transport trucks and trailers ever since. 🚛🔧

Hayden does a mint job maintaining our trucks and trailers, handling most of the workload on his own. He's one of those guys who just gets stuck in and gets the job done without making a fuss.

A quiet achiever who puts in the hard yards behind the scenes, he plays an important part in keeping our transport team moving.

Hayden might fly under the radar at work, but mention a cold b**r and he won't be far away! 🍻

Thanks for all your hard work over the past 5 years, Hayden.

🎉👏 Celebrating 10 Years of Service! 👏🎉

Congratulations to Wayne Waller on reaching 10 years with TDM!

Wayne originally joined TDM as a teenager, starting out as a general labourer. Over the last 10 years, he’s continued to learn, develop and build his skills, becoming a highly capable and multi-skilled member of the team.

Along the way, Wayne has gained his drainlaying qualification, developed into a skilled drainage operator and become one of our key motor scraper operators. He can move between drainage and earthworks, operate a wide range of gear and consistently finish his work to a high standard. Nothing is ever too much of a problem, and he’s always willing to get stuck in wherever he’s needed.

There’s also a pretty special family connection behind Wayne’s time at TDM. The Waller and Black families go back a long way, with Wayne’s Grandad & Dad having worked alongside the Black family over the years. And the connection still continues today, with his mum Ness keeping the team going with their early morning coffees! ☕😂

Anyone who knows Wayne will also know about the cheekiness. He knows exactly when to flash that smile 😁 and always keeps the team entertained along the way.

Congrats on the last 10 years Wayne, heres to another 10! 😉🍻👏

🎉👏 Celebrating 10 Years of Service! 👏🎉

Congratulations to Glen "Goose" Harvey for reaching 10 years with TDM!

Goose has actually been part of the TDM story for a lot longer than his 10 years on the payroll.

Back when Marc was doing his heavy diesel mechanic apprentice at Southpac, Goose was his manager and mentor. TDM was a much smaller operation back then and Peter would bring in the odd digger attachment or gear for them to fix. Marc reckons he used to tell Goose that one day he would be working for TDM… turns out he was right.

Fast forward a few years and Goose officially joined TDM in 2016. Since then, he has played a massive part in growing the workshop into what it is today.

Over the last 10 years, our fleet and amount of gear has grown considerably, and Goose has been there through it all, keeping things maintained and our crews moving. There also isn’t much that happens around TDM that Goose doesn’t know about, earning himself the unofficial title of TDM’s Gossip King 😂

Anyone who knows Goose knows there is always plenty of banter involved, but behind it is someone who puts in a huge amount of effort, has a wealth of knowledge and genuinely cares about keeping our gear, workshop and team running.

We are looking for an operator who's keen to learn drainage and become part of our experienced civil construction team.

You will work work alongside our skilled crews on a wide range of projects, including deep drainage, subdivisions, and civil infrastructure works across Auckland and Waikato. You will gain hands-on experience while operating modern, well-maintained machinery and learning from some of the best in the industry.

We're looking for someone who:

🎉👏Celebrating 5 Years of Service! 👏🎉

Congratulations to Meke-Pio Brown on 5 years of service with TDM Construction.

Meke joined TDM as a Machine Operator working on the River Road project and quickly showed promise, progressing into a Site Supervisor role and finishing the project as Supervisor.

Since then, Meke has moved on to running one of our projects in Cambridge, where he’s become a versatile team member who still gets stuck in with the hands on work when needed and has an easy going nature.

Thanks for your effort over the last 5 years 👊🍻

Congratulations to Anthon Currie on reaching 10 years with TDM Construction.

Ants joined TDM as a young kid from West Auckland and quickly showed commitment to building a career and making something of himself. Over the years he has grown into a respected part of the team and someone a lot of the crew naturally look up to.

Known for being a lively character around site, Ants has a natural way of teaching and mentoring others. He has played a big part in developing a number of our drainlayers over the years, passing on his knowledge and helping shape the next generation coming through the industry.

Cheers for the last 10 years Ants, here’s to the next 👊🍻
