Found, not lost!!! Keep, yes kept for sure!!!!!
A day like today we are reminded why we love living in the provinces….. and nowhere more so than Hawkes Bay.
Today I left the office and the temperature gauge was registering 34degrees….. reason enough to love this place, albeit noting the irony of perhaps needing rain now.
But now we need to share possibly one of the greatest, and yes accidental, but very heart warming experiences so far of 2024.
Today the drive from the office ended at the amazing regional sports park facility, home of Mitre10 Sports Park, and the Hawkes Bay Fitness Centre Comminty Trust - and a walk around our amazing community asset that is that stunning park was the finish to the day.
But the life in recruitment and exec search means you are often juggling lots, many things on your mind, and conversations on the go, so I’ve got to be forgiven for walking away from the populous car, and maybe leaving the windows completely down…….. yip. Totally down. Laptop, cell phone, wallet, spare keys, golf clubs, hockey gear and all wide open and ripe for the picking!!!
6kms later, hot and sweaty in the Hawkes Bay sun, and back to find all contents NOT stolen, but indeed right there in my unlocked and fully accessible car……… so there you go Hawkes Bay sporty and active community folk, take a bow.
Geez we love this place we call home!
