Big thanks to CCNZ for putting on a grouse day at the Excavator Operator Competition at Road Metals Quarry last weekend!
We had two of our lads, Max Webster and Doug Clark, out there repping Maugers – epic to see. Well done to you both!
It's a great family day out too, so keep it in mind for next time.

The Man, The Myth, The Legend

Wayne "Bill" Sampson started with Maugers Contracting in October 1984, at the age of 25. He was alongside Warner and Phil all the way through, and has since wound that up with Brittany and Hayden. 3 Generations of Maugers must of been hard yacka for you Bill! 😅😅

The loyalty, the work ethic, the common sense — these are things not everyone has, and Bill had them bursting at the seams. And he's had it right from day one, 42 years ago.

A scraper driver extraordinaire — and in fact, probably has some of the most mechanical knowledge of scrapers anywhere in the world!

We wish you all the happiness, Bill, in whatever you've got planned for your next steps. Well deserved. We are honoured to have had you as part of this company.
