⚠️ 🚨 Important Security Notice 🚨 ⚠️

VIPeople has recently become aware of fraudulent emails being sent which falsely claim to be from our business.

These emails may use our business name, branding, or employee details in an attempt to appear legitimate.

We want to remind all candidates, clients, and business partners to remain vigilant when receiving unexpected emails.

As a reminder, all legitimate VIPeople email communications will come from .co.nz email addresses.

If you receive a message claiming to be from VIPeople that asks for personal information, identification documents, banking details, payments, or urgent action, please take a moment to verify its authenticity before responding.

As a precaution:

- Check that the sender's email address ends in .co.nz
- Be cautious of unexpected links or attachments
- Do not share sensitive personal or financial information unless you are certain the request is genuine
- Contact our team directly using the contact details on our website if you are unsure

Protecting the privacy and security of our candidates and clients is extremely important to us. We appreciate your vigilance and encourage anyone with concerns to get in touch with our team directly.

Thank you for your support.

No correct guesses so far, so Steve is giving us one more clue... Any ideas?

🚨☕PICK THIS SPOT!☕🚨

🕒 Final clue & last day to guess:

Think “one short of twenty”, and you’re spot on. ⏳ Today’s the last day to lock in your guess!

🚨☕PICK THIS SPOT!☕🚨

Name the café… good luck!

Last week it was Terra Viva Cafe, located on Roydvale Avenue in Burnside.
https://cafe.terraviva.nz/

Correctly guessed by two; one is over in Australia, so unless I have an unplanned trip, a meet-up isn't likely, but a great guess from Jessica at Smith Crane & Construction. Looking forward to catching up over a coffee.

This week's hint -

☕ Baby-faced newcomers (under 7 months old!) claiming our C*D spot near the Bealey Avenue end - follow the street that shares its name with the square just down the road.

Any guesses? Where am I? Fire away 👇

Let’s strengthen te reo Māori in the workplace:

Kia ora e te whānau,

This week is Te Wiki o te Reo Māori | Māori Language Week, with the theme “Ake, Ake, Ake – A Forever Language” and a focus on Te Reo Towns – celebrating the communities keeping te reo alive in our everyday spaces.

At VIPeople, we believe te reo Māori belongs in our workplaces too – from simple greetings to clear signage and everyday conversation.

This week, try:
A Māori greeting in your next kōrero

Support your team to learn and use te reo at work – it strengthens culture and connection.

Su***de Awareness 💛
Sometimes the people who seem like they’re doing okay are the ones carrying the most.
A simple “Are you okay?”, a coffee, a quick message, or just taking the time to listen can mean more than you know.
Let’s keep checking in on each other, keep the conversation going, and remember that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
Lifeline provide confidential support from highly trained staff and volunteers, if you or someone you know needs support in New Zealand, call 0800 543 354 or text 4357 anytime for free to speak with someone from their highly trained team.
