Class 1 Driver/Freight Handler
Auckland Airport ✈️

You will sort, deliver, and collect freight for a large international airline and its time-critical clients. This is a key role where on-time delivery, every time, is essential.

• Midday to 8.30pm (you must be able to commit to these times) Monday - Friday
• Saturdays on roster - Flexibility will be required
• Full PPE will be provided along with site specific training
• PLEASE NOTE : You will be required to be a Permanent resident or Citizen to obtain approval to go airside.

You will need the following;
• A full clean Class 1 Licence
• Previous delivery driver experience would be ideal
• Great customer service skills, you will be dealing with VIP customers daily
• Manage your time effectively, as all pickups and deliveries are time-critical with no exceptions.
• Have a polite, pleasant manner, and a fantastic attitude - you will be the front person of the company dealing with their VIP customers every day
• You will be required to sort freight - good NZ geographical knowledge is very important
• Understand the importance of PODs and ensure they are signed on time every time.
• Be willing to assist with general site duties during quieter periods, including keeping the yard tidy, cleaning trucks, sweeping outdoor areas, and helping with other tasks as required.
• To be able to return a clean and clear Ministry of Justice Criminal Conviction Report
• You will need to pass a drug test
