As the All Blacks take on Italy tonight, we’ll be cheering them on with some very special rugby memories still fresh in mind! 🖤🏉

At the end of the season, our member SPS (South Pacific Seeds NZ Ltd) treated 10 of our RSE team members from Vanuatu and Tonga to an unforgettable All Blacks v France match during their final weekend in New Zealand before heading home.

What an incredible experience for the team, and such a thoughtful way to celebrate their hard work and contribution throughout the season. It’s moments like these that show the care, connection and community behind the Seasonal Solutions Cooperative whānau.

A huge thank you to SPS for looking after our people so well and helping create memories they’ll take home with them.

Go the All Blacks! 🖤

Last weekend we supported 41 of our RSE team from Otago to go on first aid courses - where they learned how to use AED (defibrillators), do CPR, treat burns, eye injuries, bee stings, strains, and sprains, and much more 🚑🩺

Lots of learning (and lots of laughing) along the way. The team told us they're excited to take these useful skills & new information home (to help their families and villages), as well as using these tools to help while they're here in New Zealand👍🏾

The RSE teams in South Canterbury will get their opportunity to go on this course soon too, and the RSE teams in North Canterbury and Marlborough once the winter crews arrive.

So great to see the enthusiasm amongst the team for continuing to learn and upskill! Here are a couple photos of the team in action 🤩

Great to read about some more of our amazing RSE team achieving their goals back in Vanuatu - gudfala work! (Congratulations!)

"Seasonal Solutions Pastoral Care Coordinator Sophie Palmer visited Ben and his family in Vanuatu over the summer, and says the impacts of the RSE scheme on the community are "incredibly" positive, "with income earned overseas being invested locally into housing, schools, small businesses, and community projects such as infrastructure."
