📌पर्व बिशेष | तमु ल्होसार (नव-वर्षारम्भ)
We wish you "हार्दिक शुभ-कामना " to our all
the Students, Trainees and Guardians on the occasion of "तमु ल्होसार पर्व | नव वर्षारम्भ" 🙏🙏🙏Tamu Lhosar is one of the most important festivals of the Gurung (Tamu) community of Nepal. It marks the beginning of the Gurung New Year and is celebrated every year on 15th Poush (December 30) according to the Nepali calendar. The festival symbolizes new beginnings, peace, prosperity, and cultural unity. The word “Lhosar” is derived from two Tibetan words: “Lho” meaning year and “Sar” meaning new. Hence, Lhosar literally means New Year. Tamu Lhosar is closely connected with the animal cycle of the Tibetan calendar, and each year is associated with a particular animal sign.
