Tekka

Tekka is a hub for a variety of Nepali products. We thrive to mobilize local manpower and resources to create masterpieces that meet the needs of our customers.

Nepal imports approximately 13 times more than it exports. The country has been incurring a loss in foreign trade due to a very high gap between import and export. Failure to promote import substitution industrialization and low domestic productivity has led to the increase in import. Every year the unemployment rate is rapidly increasing. And a very large number of youths are leaving the country

every year. Yes, there is a way we can change it. The only solution is to increase production inside the country. We need to thrive to mobilize local resources and local manpower to create quality products that are accessible to the people inside the country and out. Tekka is hence working on this mission of promoting local production. Our products come from nooks and crannies of the country. They carry the stories behind them, the stories of supporting local entrepreneurs to the stories of uplifting the lives of women. They reflect authenticity and traditional values in them. Self-sustainability is a mission led by our enterprise Tekka but is the responsibility of us all. Let’s go hand in hand to create a nation that doesn’t rely on anyone for it’s functional to aspirational product needs. We believe our products to lead the future of the nation.
