We are incredibly proud of Oleg and of the great match that has been made with Rotterdam Shiprepair. In March, Oleg started his new career there as a mechanic. A new step that requires courage, motivation and perseverance.

We are proud to offer a 14-week preparatory programme designed specifically for status holders who are ready to build a new career in the Netherlands. This practical training programme provides the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to take the first step toward a future in the rapidly growing energy transition sector.

This programme is open to status holders living in the Rotterdam area who have completed their integration programme, have Dutch language proficiency at B1 level, and hold a valid driving licence.

During the programme, participants will:
🔹 Develop technical skills relevant to the energy industry
🔹 Learn essential safety procedures and working practices
🔹 Improve their understanding of Dutch technical terminology
🔹 Gain insight into Dutch workplace culture and professional expectations
🔹 Prepare for a work-based training programme as a technician or engineer

Following successful completion of the programme, participants can move into various roles depending on their experience, interests, and background. Opportunities may include positions such as mechanic, draughtsman, work planner, or project planner with network operators and subcontractors in the Rotterdam region.
