Eva originally comes from Germany. Her parents are from Hungary and perhaps that adventurous spirit runs a little in the family. Already at the age of sixteen, she knew she wanted to become a physiotherapist.

Together with Erik Jan, she collected and submitted all the necessary documents for the Swiss Red Cross. In addition, PhysioMatch helped her with all the practical matters that had to be arranged before she could actually move to Switzerland. In November, she had her first online conversations with employers and in December she travelled to Switzerland for her first in-person job interviews. Eventually, she started working for her current employer in February 2026.

Xander (23) comes from Londerzeel, near Brussels, and studied in Leuven. He quickly knew that he wanted to work as a neuro physiotherapist. During his studies, he deliberately chose internships in neurology and also worked at the burn center of UZ Leuven. In Belgium, however, he noticed that the opportunities within neuro did not always match what he was looking for. Treatment paths are often shorter there, patients return home more quickly and the guidance is less intensive. That is why he decided to take the step to Switzerland.
