They take this very seriously. So, if you are seen without a working bike light you could risk a fine of €75,-.

Didn’t understand something? Ask again. That is professional.

When you are new at work, or when instructions are given in a different language, it is normal not to understand everything immediately.

Do not be afraid to ask questions.

Ask a colleague to explain the task again, show you how it should be done, or repeat the instructions in your own words to check that you understood them correctly.

Asking questions helps to:

* prevent mistakes;
* work more safely;
* improve the quality of your work;
* become independent more quickly.

You are not expected to know everything straight away. It is more important that you work safely and correctly.

**One extra question is always better than one unnecessary mistake.**
