After the success of last year’s first edition, the RGF Connect Global Week of Impact returns from 8–12 June 2026.

This year’s theme is Building Bridges to Employment. Together with our operating companies across ten countries and four continents, we create opportunities for people who face barriers to work, helping them gain access to meaningful, sustainable employment.
We are turning purpose into action through local initiatives: work-readiness support, job matching, mentorship, and strong partnerships that open doors to real job opportunities. During this week – and beyond – our teams will focus on creating impact in their communities.

As Melissa Fulmore Hardwick, Global Head of RGF Connect, puts it: “Through our RGF Connect initiatives, we demonstrated that employment has the power to transform lives and grow our clients’ businesses. This year, we are building on that momentum with an even sharper focus and greater ambition.”
We look forward to sharing the stories, results and learnings from this year’s Global Week of Impact.

Let’s make this impact together!

What if the real question in leadership wasn’t ‘if’ women will lead, but ‘when’ we give them the chance?

Under the leadership of Koji Sakamoto, CEO of Staff Service Group in Japan, the share of female managers has risen sharply because women are offered real opportunities to lead, even before they put up their hands.

At the same time, Koji is making it just as normal for men to care for their families as it is for women. By asking every new father not whether he will take parental leave, but when and for how long, he’s quietly changing the rules: leadership is not only for men, and caregiving is not only for women. That’s Give To Gain in action at RGF Staffing: giving space, trust, and time so more people can grow at home and at work.

This International Women’s Day, meet Koji - and revisit Najat and Joan’s stories - in our article on how “Give To Gain” is reshaping opportunities for women around the world: https://rgfstaffing.com/news-insights/newsroom/international-women-s-day-2026-bringing-give-to-gain-to-life/

Sometimes “giving” starts with something as small as a handbag.

In the USA, Staffmark Group sales manager and driving force behind its Women Alliance Business Resource Group Joan Trivella turned a simple idea - filling donated purses with essentials like a toothbrush, shampoo, deodorant, a pack of chewing gum and a Staffmark Group business card and bringing them to women’s shelters - into something much bigger.

Each toiletry bag became a moment of connection; a sign that someone cared. For the colleagues delivering them, it was an invitation to show up in their communities, talk openly about the pressures they face, and see how every act of care can open a door to new work and new confidence. “Women try so hard to be strong all of the time”, Joan says. “It’s gratifying to know people feel they’re in a safe place, and that others can help them navigate what life deals them.”

What if “giving” wasn’t a sacrifice, but a strategy for change?

As we head towards International Women’s Day this Sunday, RGF Staffing is embracing the theme Give To Gain — not as a campaign line, but as a mindset that connects our global vision to local actions in our operating companies around the world.

In the Netherlands, Director People & Governance Najat Ben Aalam puts that mindset into practice: from speaking openly about the mental load many women feel after becoming a parent, encouraging leaders to recognize life-changing moments in their people’s lives, and mentoring women who are breaking through barriers to work.

Her story shows how giving your time, your attention, and a gentle push in the right direction can change someone’s career and life. “Sometimes, you don’t realize the impact of what you offer. Mentoring taught me that what feels small to you can be enormous for someone else.”

Starting 2026 with a clear focus: creating fair chances in the world of work.

This year, we continue to create opportunities for people who face barriers to employment – together with our colleagues, clients, and partners worldwide.

Through RGF Connect, our global social impact program, we turn this focus into action with local initiatives that open doors to education, training, and work.

Melissa Fulmore-Hardwick, Global Head of RGF Connect:
“We are embedding RGF Connect at the heart of our business. We scale inclusive hiring pathways, align with supportive funding, and drive measurable workforce‑readiness outcomes. In this way, RGF Connect becomes both a social impact engine and a strategic solution to today’s labor market challenges within our operating companies.”

Melissa adds: “By 2030, our goal is to be a global leader in inclusive employment. We offer meaningful, lasting work opportunities to individuals with a distance to the labor market and embed this principle across every part of our business.”

In our latest Sustainability Progress Report, we share how our RGF Connect communities and programs are making a difference in the lives of more than 50,000 people worldwide.
