Organization: Women United for Economic Empowerment (WUEE)
Project: THRIVE Project
Location: Oron LGA, Akwa Ibom State
Women United for Economic Empowerment (WUEE) is a community-driven organization committed to improving the well-being of vulnerable populations through sustainable development interventions.
Under the THRIVE Project, WUEE invites qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the following positions:
1. Strategic Information Officer
Duty Station: Oron LGA (with field activities across implementing LGAs)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting processes
Ensure data quality assurance and compliance with donor requirements
Maintain project databases and monitoring tools
Support monitoring and evaluation activities across project LGAs
Prepare timely and high-quality technical reports
Qualifications & Requirements:
Degree in Statistics, Public Health, Computer Science, Social Sciences, or related field
Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in Monitoring & Evaluation or Strategic Information
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, DHIS2, or similar platforms)
Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills
Knowledge of Akwa Ibom terrain and local context is an added advantage
2. Nutrition & Food Security Officer
Duty Station: Oron LGA (with field activities across implementing LGAs)
Key Responsibilities:
Implement community-based nutrition and food security interventions
Conduct nutrition assessments and outreach activities
Facilitate nutrition education and behavior change sessions
Support livelihood and food access initiatives
Monitor indicators and prepare activity reports
Qualifications & Requirements:
Degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Community Health, Agriculture, or related field
At least 2 years’ experience in nutrition or food security programming
Strong community mobilization and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work across rural communities
Knowledge of local languages within the project LGAs is an added advantage

The Project Office is located in Oron LGA, Akwa Ibom State.
