OtownGist is looking for a Media Engagement Manager to lead our digital outreach efforts across social media, our website, and messaging platforms. This role is all about strategy, speed, creativity, and connection.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow OtownGist’s presence on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other platforms
Publish news content swiftly across website and messaging channels (WhatsApp, Telegram)
Respond to audience comments, messages, and feedback
Design and implement digital engagement strategies to grow our online audience
Monitor analytics and generate reports on post reach, performance, and engagement
Collaborate with editorial and production teams to ensure relevant, timely content
🔹 Ideal Candidate
Strong understanding of social media trends and tools
Good writing and communication skills
Familiar with using Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights, and Telegram broadcast tools
Able to work independently, manage time, and deliver results under pressure
Video or podcast editing skills is a bonus
Minimum of OND or its equivalent
