About the Role
Are you energetic, persuasive, and passionate about field engagement and customer acquisition?
Our client is seeking highly motivated Field Sales Officers (FSOs) to drive grassroots onboarding and taxpayer enrollment across Lagos under the Taxpayer Champion Project.
This role is designed for smart, target-driven professionals with strong field sales experience and the ability to engage individuals and SME owners directly within markets, business clusters, and commercial hubs.
As a frontline representative, you will help individuals and businesses avoid government compliance penalties by onboarding them onto Zend’s automated tax compliance platform.
Core Mandate
To aggressively drive customer acquisition, taxpayer onboarding, and territory pe*******on while supporting revenue growth and financial inclusion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct daily field canvassing across assigned territories including markets, SME hubs, office clusters, and industrial areas
* Identify and engage non-compliant taxpayers and business owners
* Deliver persuasive sales pitches and communicate the benefits of tax compliance solutions
* Register and onboard customers in real time using the Taxpayer Champion digital platform/tablets
* Generate Tax Identification Numbers (TINs) and initiate onboarding processes on-site
* Drive high-volume acquisition of professionals, freelancers, traders, and SME owners
* Gather territory intelligence and provide market feedback to Business Development Executives
* Support group onboarding activations within schools, hospitals, corporate organizations, and associations
* Maintain accurate field reports, customer records, and daily activity updates

Requirements & Qualifications
Experience
* Minimum of 2–3 years proven experience in field sales or direct marketing
* Experience in FMCG, Mobile Money (MoMo), Microfinance, Fintech, or Telco retail sales is highly preferred
Educational Qualification
* OND or B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related field
Skills & Competencies
* Strong persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Fluency in English and Nigerian Pidgin is mandatory
* Ability to speak Yoruba or Igbo is an added advantage
* Tech-savvy with proficiency in Android/iOS tablets and web-based applications
* Ability to work independently and meet aggressive targets
* Strong physical stamina for extensive field activities and walkabouts
* High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism
