REQUIREMENTS
For post 1(i) โ (xx): Applicants must possess the Fellowship of either of West African
College of Surgeons OR National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. Evidence of
Publications in learned journals will be an added advantage.
For post 2-5: Applicants are expected to:
(a) be qualified Medical Practitioners (MBBS/BDS)
(b) be fully registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria
(c) have satisfactorily completed the NYSC programme or be duly exempted from
it by NYSC Directorate. With reference to the various post, must possess the
required years of experience.
For post 6: Applicants must possess Senior Secondary School Certificate/West
African School Certificate with five credit passes which must include English
Language & Mathematics at maximum of two sittings which must be from the
same examination body and must possess B. Pharm. and current license to
practice as Pharmacist. Candidates must also have completed the NYSC
Programme or present Exemption Certificate.
For post 7: Applicants must possess Senior Secondary School Certificate/West
African School Certificate with five credit passes which must include English
Language & Mathematics at maximum of two sittings which must be from the same
examination body and must possess B.Sc. (Physiotherapy) and current license to
practice as Physiotherapist. Candidates must also have completed the NYSC
Programme or present Exemption Certificate.
For post 8: Applicants must possess Senior Secondary School Certificate/West
African School Certificate with five credit passes which must include English
Language & Mathematics at maximum of two sittings which must be from the same
examination body and must possess B.Sc. (Radiography)/Bachelor of Radiological
Sciences and current license to practice (RRBN). Candidates must also have
completed the NYSC Programme or present Exemption Certificate.
For post 9: Applicants must possess Senior Secondary School Certificate/West
African School Certificate with five credit passes which must include English
Language & Mathematics at maximum of two sittings which must be from the same
examination body and must possess B.MLS. Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science
and current license to practice (RMLS). Candidates must also have completed the
NYSC Programme or present Exemption Certificate.
For post 10: Applicants must possess Senior Secondary School Certificate/West
African School Certificate with five credit passes which must include English
Language & Mathematics at maximum of two sittings which must be from the
same examination body and must possess requisite qualification in Ortotistic and
Prosthetics.
For post 11: Applicants must possess Senior Secondary School Certificate/West
African School Certificate with five credit passes which must include English
Language & Mathematics at maximum of two sittings which must be from the
same examination body and must possess a Doctor of Optometry degree and be
registered with current license to practice by the Board (ODOB). Candidates must
also have completed the NYSC Programme or present Exemption Certificate.
For post 12: Applicants must possess five credit passes at not more than 2
sittings from the same examination body in the West African School Certificate or
National Examinations Council (NECO) Certificate and also possess a Bachelor of
Nursing Science or Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing registrable with the
Nursing & Midwifery Council of Nigeria and must have participated in the NYSC
programme or be exempted from it. Applicant must have minimum of Fifteen
years (15) post BNSC qualification Cognate Experience in Public Service.
Submission of current professional practicing license is mandatory.
For post 13: Applicants must possess five credit passes at not more than 2
sittings from the same examination body in the West African School Certificate or
National Examinations Council (NECO) Certificate and also possess a Bachelor of
Science (Social Works) or Bachelor of Science in related Specialty relevant to the
job and must have participated in the NYSC programme or be exempted from it.
Applicant must have minimum of Fifteen years (15) post qualification
Cognate Experience in public service.
For post 14 to 17: Applicants must possess five credit passes at not more than 2
sittings from the same examination body in the West African School Certificate or
National Examinations Council (NECO) Certificate and also possess a registration in
the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. In addition to the above for post
14, applicant must possess Bachelor of Nursing Science or Bachelor of Science
degree in Nursing. For others 15 to 17, the Scheme applies. And where
applicable Applicant must have participated in the NYSC programme or be
exempted from it. Submission of current professional practicing license is
mandatory.
For post 18 and 19: Applicants must possess five credit passes which must
include English Language & Mathematics at maximum of 2 sittings from the same
examination body in the West African School Certificate or National Examinations
Council (NECO) Certificate and also possess a B.Sc. degree in Dietetics and the
current license to practice as Dietician. And for the Nutrition Officer must possess a
relevant degree in Food Science & Technology. He/she must have participated in
the NYSC programme or be exempted from it.
For post 20: Applicants must possess five credit passes which must include
English and Mathematics at not more than 2 sittings from the same examination
body in the West African School Certificate or National Examinations Council
(NECO) Certificate and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, Masters Degree
in Clinical Psychology from a recognized institution and must have participated in
the NYSC programme or be exempted from it.
For post 21: Applicants must possess five credit passes at not more than 2
sittings from the same examination body in the West African School Certificate or
National Examinations Council (NECO) Certificate and also possess Higher National
Diploma in Dental Technology from a recognized institution with current practicing
license.
For post 22: Applicants must possess five credit passes at not more than 2
sittings from the same examination body in the West African School Certificate or
National Examinations Council (NECO) Certificate and also possess Higher National
Diploma in Dental Therapy from a recognized institution with current practicing
license.
For post 23: Applicants must possess the Senior Secondary School
Certificate/West African School Certificate with five credit passes which must
include English Language & Mathematics at maximum of two sittings which must
be from the same examination body and a Bachelor of Science degree in Social
Work from a recognized institution. He/she must have participated in the NYSC
programme or be exempted from it.
For post 24: Applicants must possess the Senior Secondary School
Certificate/West African School Certificate with five credit passes which must
include English Language & Mathematics at maximum of two sittings which must
be from the same examination body and a B.Sc. degree in Environmental Health
Science from a recognized institution with current practicing license. He/she must
have participated in the NYSC programme or be exempted.
For post 25: Applicants must possess five credit passes which must include
English and Mathematics at not more than 2 sittings from the same examination
body in the West African School Certificate or National Examinations Council
(NECO) Certificate and a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from a recognized
institution. Knowledge in HTML, CSS, Java Script, ASP.NETCore, MSSQL and GIT
Version Control will be an added advantage. Candidates must also have completed
the NYSC Programme or present Exemption Certificate.
For post 26: Applicants must possess five credit passes at not more than 2
sittings from the same examination body in the West African School Certificate or
NECO Certificate and possess a B.Sc. degree in Horticulture from a recognized
institution. He/She must have participated in the NYSC programme or be exempted
from same.
For post 27 & 28: Applicants must possess five credit passes which must include
English and Mathematics at not more than 2 sittings from the same examination
body in the West African School Certificate or NECO Certificate and B.Sc. in
Library Science from a recognized institution and for post 29, a relevant Diploma
in Library studies. Candidates for post 28 must also have completed the NYSC
Programme or present Exemption Certificate.
For post 29: Applicants must possess five credit passes at not more than 2
sittings from the same examination body in the West African School Certificate or
NECO Certificate and possess a B.Sc. or B.A degree in Social Science or Humanities
from a recognized institution. He/She must have participated in the NYSC
programme or be exempted from it. Applicant must have minimum of Twelve
years (12) post degree qualification Cognate Experience in public service
and be certified by a recognized professional Body.
For post 30 and 31: Applicant must have minimum of Ten years (10) and Eight
years (8) post degree qualification Cognate Experience in public service,
respectively.
For post 32 & 33: Applicants must possess five credit passes at not more than 2
sittings from the same examination body in the West African School Certificate or
NECO Certificate and possess a B.Sc. or B.A degree in Social Science or Humanities
from a recognized institution. He/She must have participated in the NYSC
programme or be exempted from it.
For post 34: Applicants must possess five credit passes which must include
English and Mathematics at not more than 2 sittings from the same examination
body in the West African School Certificate or NECO Certificate and a degree in
Accountancy from a recognized institution. Candidates must also have completed
the NYSC Programme or present Exemption Certificate. Applicant must have
minimum of Twelve years (12) post degree qualification Cognate
Experience in public service and be certified by a Professional Body.
For post 35: Same as in Post 30 above but Applicant must have minimum of
Ten years (10) post degree qualification Cognate Experience in public
service.
For post 36 & 37: Applicants must possess five credit passes which must include
English and Mathematics at not more than 2 sittings from the same examination
body in the West African School Certificate or NECO Certificate and a degree in
Accountancy from a recognized institution. Candidates must also have completed
the NYSC Programme or present Exemption Certificate.
For post 38: Applicants must possess five credit passes which must include
English and Mathematics at not more than 2 sittings from the same examination
body in the West African School Certificate or National Examinations Council
(NECO) Certificate and a B.Sc. degree in Medical Related Sciences like Microbiology,
Biochemistry. Candidates must also have completed the NYSC Programme or present
Exemption Certificate. Applicant must have minimum of Twelve years (12)
post degree qualification Cognate Experience in public service and be
certified by a Professional Body.
For post 39 & 40: Applicants must possess five credit passes which must include
English and Mathematics at not more than 2 sittings from the same examination
body in the West African School Certificate or National Examinations Council
(NECO) Certificate and a B.Sc. degree in Medical Related Sciences like Microbiology,
Biochemistry. Candidates must also have completed the NYSC Programme or
present Exemption Certificate.
For post 41 to 46: Applicants must possess five credit passes which must include
English and Mathematics at not more than 2 sittings from the same examination
body in the West African School Certificate or National Examinations Council
(NECO) Certificate and a B.Sc./B.Tech degree in Biomedical, Electrical/Electronic or
Engineering obtained from institutions registrable with CORREN. Candidates must
also have completed the NYSC Programme or present Exemption Certificate
For post 47 to 77: Applicants must possess five credit passes at not more than 2
sittings from the same examination body in the West African School Certificate or
NECO Certificate and possess a First degree in the relevant course of study relating to
advertised post and as applicable in relevant Scheme of Service and Federal
Government Circular.
For post 78 and others: Applicants must possess five credit passes at not more
than 2 sittings from the same examination body in the West African School
Certificate or NECO Certificate and ANY OTHER RELEVANT
Certification/Qualification applicable to advertised post and as applicable in relevant
Scheme of Service/ Circular
CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
The Conditions of Service is as those obtained in the Federal Public Service. In
addition, pension arrangements will be made in accordance with the provisions of
the Pension Reform Act 2014.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
