This role will support the Head - Organisation & Talent Development in the effective Design, Development and Delivery of the overall L & D strategy for the Group and subsidiaries. The Job holder will identify development needs, design, create and deliver solutions across the organization at every level.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with the Head - Organisation & Talent Development, business leaders and managers to Identify training and development needs through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and human resources departments.
• Design customized in-house learning solutions which includes blended approach to learning such as coaching, classroom training, 1-2-1 sessions, action learning & e-learning.
• Deliver these blended solutions and training sessions to employees of the Group and Subsidiaries.
• Work with the Head, O&TD to produce developmental and change programmes that are satisfactory to all relevant parties in the Group and Subsidiaries at all level, from management to subsidiaries.
• Ensure in-house produced training materials courses meet agreed standards
• Develop new and improve existing People Development & Applied Knowledge training modules
• Monitor and review the progress of trainees through Post Training Evaluation
• Identify, select and manage external training and accreditation bodies, agencies and providers necessary to deliver required training to appropriate standards.
• Ensure all training activities and materials meet with relevant organizational and statutory policies including Health and safety, employment and equality laws.
• Arrange for the maintenance of all necessary equipment and materials relating to the effective delivery and measurement of training.
• Create design and deliver the statutory mandatory developmental and organizational change training requirements for new and existing staffs across all subsidiaries.
• Design and deliver Learning & Development solution to support the organizational change and development outlined in the overall L&D strategy using a blend of methodologies including Computer Based, Self-managed learning, remote delivery, management cascade, class room and on the job as appropriate.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
▪ B.Sc. qualification in English, Education, Human Resources or any other Social Sciences course.
Minimum of second-class lower grade
▪ Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in design and facilitation.
▪ Minimum of 2 years’ cognate experience functioning in a middle management role.
▪ Proven work experience as a Training Manager
▪ Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
▪ Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)
▪ Excellent communication and leadership skills.
▪ Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
▪ Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals.
▪ Good computer and database skills
