Sponsorship Call: The Advocacy Runway Show 🚨

What happens when 100 models with disabilities take over one runway?mWe’re about to find out. 👀

Misty Glam Company, through the IncluNorm Foundation by Misty Glam Company’s Advocacy Pageant Network, is bringing together 100 models and advocates with disabilities and visible differences for the Advocacy Runway Show, a landmark fashion and advocacy experience designed to challenge who gets seen, cast, celebrated and given opportunities within the fashion and creative industries.

And we’re looking for brands, organisations, foundations and individuals who want to be part of making it happen.

We’re seeking sponsors and strategic partners across:

✨ Fashion & designer
💄 Beauty & hair
📸 Media & production
♿ Accessibility & technology
🚗 Transportation & logistics
🏨 Hospitality
📣 Marketing & PR
💰 Financial support
🤝 Community & advocacy partnerships

Your support will help us create a runway that is accessible, professionally produced and capable of connecting participating models to real opportunities beyond the event because this is not about creating one more event where disability is visible for a day.

If your brand or organisation is serious about disability inclusion, representation and creating meaningful opportunities, we want you on this runway with us.

Olabimpe stood on the big stage last year as the Second Runner-Up and winner of the Best Personality Prize at Nigeria’s first Albinism Advocacy Pageant. Today, she’s starting her degree at the Lagos State University, and building a career in the beauty industry, entertainment and advocacy.

She recently gained admission to study Biochemistry at Lagos State University, with plans to eventually transition into Medical Laboratory Science as she works towards her long-term career goals.

But school is only one part of her story.

She has continued developing her skills in makeup, nails, cluster lashes, pedicure and hair braiding, while growing her own beauty business through referrals and returning customers.

She is also building a career in entertainment as a makeup artist. Right now, she is completing a month-long internship with Africa Magic Epic, while taking on jobs as both a makeup artist and assistant makeup artist across advertising shoots, movie productions, music videos and other creative projects.

And she has an even bigger vision.

She wants to build a chain of beauty lounges across Nigeria and eventually beyond, bringing together makeup artists, hair stylists, lash and nail technicians, spa therapists and cosmetologists under one roof.

But she isn’t stopping there.

She has also started building an advocacy community with young girls living with albinism, creating content around their experiences, challenging misconceptions and stereotypes, and showing what it looks like to grow, dream and thrive with albinism. She is also exploring a collaboration with an existing advocacy programme to take this work further.

And because she believes in being versatile, she’s planning to learn video editing, photography, videography, lighting and digital content production, starting with her phone and building towards professional equipment as she grows.

Her goal is to keep learning, keep working and keep building.

We are proud to watch our queens continue to grow, build, advocate and create opportunities for themselves and others.

And we can’t wait to see where she goes next. ❤️👑

IncluNorm Fashion: Progress Update 💚

Since The Good Fashion. and Misty Glam Company launched IncluNorm Fashion, we’ve been working quietly behind the scenes and developing personalised, functional and stylish adaptive designs for people with disabilities, thinking through the little details that can make getting dressed easier for someone with different mobility needs.

And we haven’t been doing it alone.

We’ve received fabric donations from Nigerian designers who believe in what we’re building and have chosen to give their fabrics a second life through adaptive fashion. KHAD COUTURE, Mmeje Chioma, Madam Fego| Ngozi Chiadika, Lagos made on order/two pieces /boubou / dresses and CONFIANZA BY MARAYAH, thank you for trusting us with your beautiful fabrics. 🫶🏾

We have been sending some of our designs to selected disability advocates and members of the disability community. They’ve worn the pieces, experienced the designs for themselves, and shared what works, what needs changing, and what we can do better. Because we believe the people we design for must have a say in what we create.

The design is only half the work. Listening, testing and refining is the other half.

Our goal is to donate up to 1,000 adaptive outfits to people with disabilities within the next 12 months, with each outfit thoughtfully designed around the person’s needs.

And we need your help to make that possible. Want to support IncluNorm Fashion?

You can:

👗 Sponsor an adaptive outfit for someone with a disability
🧵 Donate fabrics that we can transform into adaptive clothing
🤝 Partner with us to reach more beneficiaries
💰 Make a donation towards production and distribution

Account Name: IncluNorm Fashion Ltd
Bank: Wema Bank

We’re building this one outfit at a time, and we’re excited to show you what we’ve been working on.

One year ago, Nwoye Blessing stood on the stage as the First Runner-Up and Best Talent prize winner at Nigeria’s first Albinism Advocacy Pageant. 👑✨

Since the pageant, Blessing has continued to use her voice to advocate for people with albinism and people living with other disabilities. She is a writer who has published books on different global platforms, a social media manager, and an advocate committed to creating awareness around disability rights, inclusion and equal opportunities.

Her work is rooted in a simple belief that people with disabilities deserve dignity, opportunity and full participation in society.

A year later, we’re proud to look back and see how she has continued to use the visibility the pageant created to amplify important conversations and advocate for change.

This is exactly why we created the Albinism Advocacy Pageant.

The crown was only the beginning.

And if you are a brand, organisation, media platform or individual looking to collaborate with Blessing around writing, social media, disability advocacy, awareness campaigns, speaking or storytelling, we’re open to exploring opportunities.

PART 5️⃣

First, there was Misty Glam Company.

A disability-inclusive talent management, commercial modeling, and advocacy agency creating space for talent that the industry too often overlooks.

Then, the work grew beyond talent.

Next came The Advocacy Pageant Network, our unconventional initiative using pageantry, runway shows and the big stages as tools for disability advocacy.

Then IncluNorm by Misty Glam Company. An educational platform for disability inclusion, built around gamified learning experiences and an Inclusion Intelligence API designed to help make digital systems more inclusive by default.

We are also building IncluNorm by Misty Glam Company.media, our newsroom telling disability-focused stories, covering the issues that matter and putting disability where it belongs: in mainstream conversations.

And because inclusion has to exist beyond conversations, there is IncluNorm Fashion, our adaptive fashion collection in partnership with Kush Atelier creating clothing that considers access, functionality, style and the diverse ways people move through the world.

All of these now sit alongside IncluNorm Foundation by Misty Glam Company, our nonprofit arm driving the advocacy work behind it all.

From advocacy pageants and runway shows to empowerment opportunities, education, storytelling and community-led initiatives, the Foundation is where we turn the mission into action.

What started as a disability-inclusive talent management company has become something much bigger.

Different companies with one mission: making inclusion the norm.

So, officially…

Introducing IncluNorm Foundation. 💚💚

Last year, we gave you a glimpse. This year, we’re taking it much further.

At the Albinism Advocacy Pageant grand finale, we had a little something extra on the runway.

A mini diversity runway show, sponsored and styled by Lush Hair Nigeria, featuring our models with albinism, model with vitiligo, a wheelchair model, and models with other disabilities.

It was a small runway but it was a big idea. For us, it was never about putting a few models with disabilities on a stage and calling it inclusion.

It was about asking: What if the runway actually reflected the diversity of the people who exist in the world?

What if disability wasn’t treated as a special category, a charity segment or an occasional “inspirational” appearance, but simply as another part of the talent and beauty that belongs in fashion?

That runway was a glimpse of what was possible. And this year, we’re taking that possibility much further.

We’re building the Advocacy Runway Show, bringing together the largest gathering of models with disabilities and visible differences on one runway.

100 people. 100 stories. 100 bodies. 10 ways of experiencing the world. And all of them deserving of the opportunity to be seen, styled, cast, photographed, celebrated and booked.

We believe representation should lead to an industry where people with disabilities don’t have to wait for a special event to be included.

This is why we are doing the Advocacy Runway Show.

Not to create a separate fashion world for disabled people. But to challenge the fashion world we already have to make room for them.

We are inviting brands, designers, beauty companies, media organisations, sponsors and partners who believe in a more inclusive creative industry to build this with us.

PART 4️⃣

Beyond talent management and modelling, our disability advocacy work leverages creative platforms to create conversations and opportunities around disability inclusion.

We built the Advocacy Pageant Network, creating advocacy-driven pageantry that gives people with disabilities platforms to lead, speak and challenge stereotypes.

That journey led to the creation of Nigeria’s first Albinism Advocacy Pageant, bringing together beauty, representation and advocacy in a way that allowed contestants to be seen for their voices, ambitions and leadership, not simply their appearance.

Then came the Advocacy Runway Show, where we’re pushing the boundaries of representation even further by bringing together 100 models with disabilities and visible differences on one runway.

Now we’re looking for organisations, brands, partners, creatives and contributors who believe in this vision and can help us bring this landmark event to life.

If you’d like to partner with us, contribute to the production, support the models or explore how your organisation can be part of this movement:

CALL FOR SPONSORS 🚨

A year ago, we crowned the first Albinism Advocacy Queen in Nigeria. 👑

The Albinism Advocacy Pageant was never just about a crown. It was a leadership training programme that used pageantry as a tool for advocacy, creating a platform for women with albinism to build confidence, develop their voices and take up space across fashion, media and beauty.

This year, we’re taking that vision even further.

We’re bringing together 100 models with disabilities and visible differences on one runway for the Advocacy Runway Show, a record-setting celebration of talent, representation and inclusion.

And we’re looking for organisations, brands, partners, creatives and contributors who believe in this vision and can help us bring this landmark event to life.

If you’d like to partner with us, contribute to the production, support the models or explore how your organisation can be part of this movement:

PART 3️⃣

Sometimes inclusion looks like education. Sometimes it looks like representation.

And sometimes, it looks like a shirt that someone can actually put on by themselves.

That’s why we partnered with The Good Fashion. to build IncluNorm Fashion, creating adaptive clothing designed around the real-life needs of people with disabilities.

Accessible fastenings. More functional pocket placements. Easier dressing. More independence.

Because fashion should work for the person wearing it. Not the other way around.

We’re creating stylish adaptive clothing designed around the real needs of people with disabilities, while celebrating African fabrics, craftsmanship and personal style. But we can’t build this alone.

We’re looking for individuals, designers, fashion brands, organisations, NGOs and CSR partners who want to help us make adaptive fashion more accessible.

- Sponsor an outfit
- Fund a collection
- Donate fabrics and materials
- Partner with us to reach disability communities

Your support helps us move from sketches and prototypes to actual garments that can make everyday dressing easier for someone.
