Over the weekend, Chief Koppe Sylvanus Joseph graced two important occasions within the community — the VWANG Cultural Festival 2026 of the Mupun Nation and the send-forth prayer ceremony of one of his constituents in Kopshakap, Chip
At the colourful VWANG 2026 Cultural Festival
Chief Koppe congratulated the entire Mupun Nation for sustaining such a rich cultural heritage that continues to unite the people and showcase their traditions to the world. He commended the Mupun Traditional Council, the Royal Fathers, and the Central Planning Committee for organizing a successful and peaceful celebration. According to him, VWANG remains a symbol of unity, identity, and pride for the Mupun people. He encouraged the people to continue promoting peace, unity, and mutual respect for the progress and development of the land.
In a related development, Chief Koppe also attended the send-forth prayer ceremony of one of his constituents in Chip, Kopshakap. During the occasion, he expressed joy and appreciation to God for the life and achievements of the celebrant. He described her as a hardworking and dedicated woman whose contributions to the community will always be remembered.
