Artificial intelligence is no longer science fiction. It is here and changing how we lead, govern and do business.
Good Morning Plateau is therefore rounding up the week with Chief Koppe Sylvanus, a Tech Expert who Join us to discuss the future of leadership, governance and entrepreneurship in the age of AI.
Time of engagement was 9:00-10:00am on Friday at PRTV Studios.
MY KEY RESPONSE FOR GOOD MORNING PLATEAU WERE;
Good morning to the wonderful listeners of PRTV and everyone joining us across Plateau State and beyond.
Artificial Intelligence is no longer a conversation about the future. AI is already here, and it is changing the way we work, lead, govern, learn, create businesses and solve problems.
But my message today is simple: AI is not the greatest threat to humanity. The greatest threat is humanity failing to understand and responsibly use AI.
1. What does AI mean for the ordinary person?
When people hear Artificial Intelligence, they often think it is only for computer scientists, programmers or big technology companies. That is not true.
AI is already influencing how we communicate, how businesses market their products, how students learn, how journalists create content, how governments analyse information and how entrepreneurs serve their customers.
The real question is no longer, “Will AI take over?”
The better question is:
“How prepared are we to work with AI?”
The people who will benefit most from AI are not necessarily those who know the most about technology. They are those who are willing to learn, adapt and use technology to solve real human problems.
2. AI and the future of leadership
Leadership in the age of AI must move beyond titles, positions and traditional authority.
A leader today must be a learner.
The world is changing faster than many traditional systems can adapt. A leader who refuses to learn will eventually become disconnected from the people and the realities they are leading.
But I also believe that AI cannot replace the most important qualities of leadership: wisdom, empathy, integrity, courage, vision and responsibility.
AI can process information, but it cannot replace the moral responsibility of a human leader.
So the future leader must combine:
Human wisdom + technological intelligence + ethical responsibility.
The leaders of tomorrow must understand technology, even if they are not programmers.
