On this solemn occasion of Easter, our hearts go out to all the victims and families affected by the recent attack. We stand with you in prayers and in solidarity during this difficult time.

As we reflect on the resurrection of Christ, we are reminded that even in the darkest moments, hope is not lost. Just as Christ rose from death, we pray that the souls of the departed find eternal rest, and that God grants comfort, healing, and strength to those left behind.

It was a moment of pride and honor to attend BHIT Mhiship 2026 as one of the proud sons of the Mhiship Nation.

I also had the privilege of representing Rt. Hon. Gagdi Adamu PhD, OON, who was the Chairman of the Day but was unavoidably absent due to his engagement at the National Convention. In his usual spirit of commitment to grassroots development, he generously donated the sum of ₦5,000,000 towards the establishment of a CBT Centre — a strategic investment in education and digital advancement for our people.

In the same vein, Chief Koppe Sylvanus Joseph demonstrated his unwavering dedication to community growth by donating ₦1,000,000 in support of BHIT Mhiship 2026. Over the weekend, Chief Koppe Sylvanus Joseph graced two important occasions within the community — the VWANG Cultural Festival 2026 of the Mupun Nation and the send-forth prayer ceremony of one of his constituents in Kopshakap, Chip

At the colourful VWANG 2026 Cultural Festival
Chief Koppe congratulated the entire Mupun Nation for sustaining such a rich cultural heritage that continues to unite the people and showcase their traditions to the world. He commended the Mupun Traditional Council, the Royal Fathers, and the Central Planning Committee for organizing a successful and peaceful celebration. According to him, VWANG remains a symbol of unity, identity, and pride for the Mupun people. He encouraged the people to continue promoting peace, unity, and mutual respect for the progress and development of the land.

In a related development, Chief Koppe also attended the send-forth prayer ceremony of one of his constituents in Chip, Kopshakap. During the occasion, he expressed joy and appreciation to God for the life and achievements of the celebrant. He described her as a hardworking and dedicated woman whose contributions to the community will always be remembered.

Chief Koppe wished her success and fulfilment as she begins a new chapter in life and prayed that God Almighty would continue to guide and bless her journey ahead.
He also prayed for peace, love, and happiness in her family and supported the occasion handsomely as a mark of his goodwill and encouragement.
