Many try to explain away the issues that plague them. They prefer having ears to listen to their cries rather than taking action. We live in the "therapy generation" while the action generation slowly fades away. No one is taking responsibility anymore.
And we forget an inevitable truth, that all sin will be punished. Life isn't like a movie, where the villain repents and all is forgiven. No! It is real. Every action and inaction will eventually catch up. Even the Scripture says your sins will find you out. Some religions call this Karma.
Be careful. Take responsibility for what happens to you and how you handle your affairs because tragedy may explain behaviour but it doesn't erase responsibility.
Bad things may happen to you but you can choose to smile. People can step on your toes and you can choose to forgive. People can slap you and you can turn the other cheek. Temptations can come, but you can overcome them.
Live as "an actor" and not "a reactor".
