aws of Federation of Nigeria 2004, as a Higher Vocational and Tertiary Level Professional Institute to meet the changing manpower needs of Tourism and Allied Occupations. The Institute is the premier awarding body in Nigeria, established to provide education and membership structure aimed at guaranteeing excellent standards of service within Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, and associated Industries. The Federal Executive Council (FEC) at its meeting of Wednesday April 10, 2013 approved a Six-Level National Vocational Qualification Framework (NVQF) for the country. The framework as approved by the FEC, recognises Vocational and Technical Qualifications Structure within the National Educational System/Standards, and places same in the scheme of service. The Governing Board of National Board for Technical Education at its 76th regular meeting approved the Institute for Tourism Professionals (ITP) as an awarding body for the Hospitality, Travel and Tourism Sector in Nigeria. By this recognition, the Institute is mandated as the Awarding Body for the Industry
1. To develop and administer accredited qualifications,
2. Approve and monitor training Institutions/education providers,
3. Award certificates for all levels from entry to professional level, and
4. Provide continuous professional development (CPD) for every cadre of staff. The six-level system of qualifications at different levels of skills, autonomy and responsibility, corresponds to levels of employment in the Nigerian labour market, beginning with Level 1, which describes the entry level worker, through to Level 6 which describes the professional worker. CITY BOY MOVEMENT'S DG, HON. FRANCIS OLUWATOSIN SHOGA LEADS HIS TEAM ON AN OFFICIAL VISIT TO THE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT MINISTRY

The City Boy Movement HQ led by her DG, Hon. Francis Oluwatosin Shoga alongside the Movement's National Coordinator, Hon. Favour Abayomi and other esteemed members of the Movement, earlier today paid an official visit to the Minister of youth development, Hon. Ayodele Olawande in his office in the Federal Capital Territory.

The visit is strategic as it afforded these great leaders the opportunity of brainstorming on issue bothering on development and unity of the country. Hon. Shoga and the Minster for youth development, Hon. Ayodele discussed further on national issues with emphasis on politics as they strategies for 2027 elections, with particular focus on PBAT reelection.

It was a moment for cross fertilization of ideas and strategic engagement between these leaders and their team members and much was achieved within a brief but very important moment of the visit.

City Boy Movement: Seyi Tinubu didn't say God can’t stop his father from serving eight years

The City Boy Movement says Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, did not say God cannot stop his father from serving eight years as president.

Recently, a Facebook user identified as Albab Abdullahi published an article alleging that Seyi made a “blasphemous” comment to “put God under the bus” because of his father’s 2027 ambition.

“There is nothing that can stop my father from completing his eight years in power. Not even God is capable,” the Facebook user accused Seyi of saying.
