REGISTER WITH AN EMPLOYMENT AGENCY...

GREEN GLOBALIQ INTERNATION LIMITED is our corporate umbrella name, a credible corporate entity with the Nigeria Employers Consultative Assembly (NECA). We have emerged over the years into a reputable, dignifying and respectable agency to become a major player in the Nigerian employment industry and Human Resource Consultancy services.

Our professional expertise and experience in staff/personnel outsourcing over the years, stand us out. We hold the retainership in HR consultancy of both local and international organisations/companies.

As selectors and interviewers, we have in about a decade, directly and/or indirectly, single-handedly and/or in conjunction with other firms, selected cumulatively over 18000 CVs on behalf of various employers, and interviewed cumulatively over 11000 candidates for various job placements and in various parts of the country.

From experience therefore, we can state authoritatively, that most advertised job vacancies in this part of the world are 'belated'. This is because before the vacancies are published, CVs are already on table and handy for consideration for the advertised positions. Thus, suitably qualified applicants out there, only apply for the advertised positions 'belatedly' as it were. This situation makes applicants who otherwise would have won the job placement, remain stagnantly too long, frustrated and even despair in the labour market.

It is therefore imperative that the strategy of STORING your CV with an employment agency is evolved. This innovative devise is strategically conceived to provide the contemporary solution to applicants' job placement quests.

When your CV is STORED (registered) with a reputable employment agency, it becomes handy and ready at any and at all material time to be presented to the recruiting organisation/company as if to say, "you don't need to go about all that waste of time and resources, here are very suitably qualified candidates you are looking for. You may pick from these readily available CVs".

It is therefore a direct question. Do you really need a job? If yes, then have you registered with an agency? REGISTER to store your CV with a credible employment agency.

We reckon that quacks and scammers hàve infested our professional practice. This is not exclusive to our profession. Quackery and scammers are in almost, if not all fields. You should however be able to decipher from search engines and other online channels, the authenticity or otherwise of an employment agency to register with.

By registering with an employment agency, you have formally given such agency the responsibility to secure you a job. The year is four months old already. If you are registered with us, you should secure a good job placement in eight months from now.

INTERVIEW TUTORIALS (3).

4). HOW RESPECTFUL YOU ARE.

Interviewers vàlue candidates' respect not only for others, but themselves too.

In a workplace full of humans, respect is the first step towards social connection and the highest level of collaboration among colleagues.

The first test happens before you open your mouth to introduce yourself.

It starts with being on time and fully prepared for the interview. If a candidate does not have enough self respect to position him/herself for a successful meeting by being on time, informed about the organisation/company, and position for which he/she is seeking employment, can one really expect such candidate (if employed) will operate with the utmost respect for their work or colleagues?

5). HOW SPECIFIC YOU ARE.

While being able to provide succinct yet thoughtful answers to interview questions is important, interviewers attach value to details.

Interviewers don't only want to know what you've done in previous job engagements, but the nitty-gritty steps you took to move numbers.

It is noticed that when candidates speak to specific things they've done to execute and actually àchieve set objective(s), they rather just describe theoretical approaches and best practices.

There are lots of smart people out there who know all the answers, but have they actually been able to go out and mobilize people to do the work? Interviewers want to hear you dig into the 'minutia' of a project you've engaged in, in à way that shows you were clearly involved to the successful end of the project.

INTERVIEW TUTORIALS (2).

In our first lecture, we touched on the importance of utmost courtesy (not dear), towards your interviewers. I have to add that your courteous disposition must neither be over nor under 100%.

2). HOW PASSIONATE YOU ARE.

The second area interviewers look out for, is your passion. You hear this keyword alot when people talk about a career the adore; but what is often forgotten is the actual import of the word.

Passion derives from the làtin root for pain. To the interviewers, the candidate must be so ignited by the possible job placement, that he/she is willing to offer for it. This attribute pushes the candidate to go above, beyond, and the extra mile to be accomplished.

Your passion for the job is a top priority interviewers or employers look for, because it often translate into hardwork, innovàtiveness and loyalty.

Passion is what drives the employee through times of challenges, and allows employees to thrive despite àdversities ànd a dynamic environment, where chànge is the only constant.

3). HOW SELF AWARE AND FLEXIBLE YOU ARE.

This is the third àrea the interviewers look out for, in the candidate. It is a truism that the ability to be constructively critical of oneself , comes with age and experience. But this is considered by many CEOs as a top priority skill set.

When you exhibit confidence in yourself to interviewers because you understand your own struggle, it will be interpreted that you will innately become adaptable. This is a plus for you.

To be successful, candidates need to be able to maximize their strengths, address their development needs and do it with confidence at interviews.

We live in an increasingly dynamic world and job seekers/interviewees really need to be àble to have a vision and a point of view; but also be able to adjust and adapt their perspectives to address eàch specific situation...
