HR Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the full spectrum of HR function including recruitment, payroll, compensation & benefits, training, and performance management.
• Develop manpower planning strategies aligned with production and business requirements.
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely statutory submission (EFP, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
• Manage industrial relations matters including disciplinary process, domestic, inquires, and grievance handling.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment legislation including the Employment Act 1955 and Industrial Relations Act 1967.
• Support internal and external audits, including IATF & ISO and customer audits.
• Liaise with relevant authorities such as Department of Labour Malaysia when required.
• Promote positive employee engagement and uphold company values in line with Japanese corporate culture (discipline, teamwork, continuous improvement).
• Provide HR advisory support to Plant Management and Department Heads.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in managerial capacity within manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysia labour laws and industrial relations practices.
• Experience in Japanese MNC or structured corporate environment will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with manufacturing operations and plant workforce management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High integrity, discipline, and ability to work in a structured and compliance-driven environment.
• Good communication skills ( both written and verbal).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Meticulous, attention to details and able to work in a face-faced, deadline-driven factory environment.
• Willing to work Simpant Ampat, Penang

Quality Control (QC)

Job Requirements :
• Audit customer feedback, assess internal issues and follow-up processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Review key suppliers with product and operations teams to ensure highest standards of safety, service and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Product, Guides) to resolve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Liaise with external teams, including suppliers and international agents.
• Stay updated on local regulations, cultural norms, and industry trends to anticipate and mitigate potential disruptions.

Internal Audit

Job Description:

• Draft audit planning documents, define audit scope, and develop appropriate audit programs for Head of Department approval to meet audit objectives
• Perform audit planning activities, including preliminary interviews, information gathering, and data analytics
• Execute fieldwork within stipulated timelines and provide supporting evidence for findings and recommendations, including finalization of audit working papers
• Draft and finalize audit reports for Head of Department approval
• Conduct periodic follow-up audits on agreed action plans, review supporting evidence, and provide recommendations to stakeholders for effective closure of audit findings
• Collaborate closely with external auditors on audit activities
• Perform control design testing in accordance with the internal control framework and ensure sufficient evidence supports control assessment conclusions
• Conduct quarterly follow-ups with management on risk management activities and ensure the framework is operating effectively
• Assist the Head of Audit in executing special investigations, due diligence, and follow-up reviews as requested by the Audit Committee or senior management

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Accountancy / Finance / Business or equivalent professional qualifications (CIA).
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in audit and risk management, preferably in Hospitality Industry.
• High level of integrity and takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
• Strong auditing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills, both spoken and written English.
