Thank you to everyone who has been walking this journey with us ❤️

In this line of work, it is normal for staff to come and go. What we are truly grateful for is our customers’ continued trust and support, which allows us to keep going and make an honest living.
Because of this, we never take any request lightly. We understand that our neighbours need more than just cleaners —
sometimes they need someone to help notify them, arrange schedules, collect documents, feed their cats, water plants, or manage keys.

Being able to run a small business that genuinely helps others brings us a lot of fulfillment, and we are thankful for that every day.

Our company will also soon be bidding farewell to a few kakaks who are retiring. It’s hard to believe we have worked together for three years. They are now returning to their kampung and have built their own homes — something we are truly happy and proud to see. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

Many people perceive customer service (CS) in the housekeeping industry as merely handling pricing, pushing packages, or scheduling appointments. However, the role of CS goes far beyond these tasks. Having basic knowledge of door-to-door housekeeping—preferably from firsthand experience as a housekeeper—is crucial.

# # # Here’s Why:

1. Acts as a Communication Bridge Between Customers and Housekeepers ("Kakak")
- To relay messages or tasks accurately from customers to housekeepers, a CS representative with cleaning experience performs the job more effectively.

2. Provides Accurate Time Estimates (Quotation)
- Our goal isn’t just to tell you how many hours a package includes or how much it costs. Instead, we advise you on how many hours you’ll realistically need to complete your requested tasks. Without cleaning experience, it’s difficult to gauge this correctly.

3. Handles Complaints Fairly
- Not all complaints are the housekeeper’s fault. Misunderstandings between customers and housekeepers often occur. A knowledgeable CS representative can mediate these situations effectively.

你们的清洁服务稳定了吗？

做了这一行9年，尝试了不同的管理和生意模式，最后发觉客户们的要求只是“稳定”。稳定的服务素质，稳定的客服，稳定的抵达客户家。

谁也不想跟公司请假预留了时间，可是最后被放飞机，或者要delay下一个appointment等工人到。更何况在这个时间越来越贵又繁忙的时代。那我们如何做到能稳定地把工人送到客户家？

我们在客户群附近租宿舍，坚持不接远的单,为的就是确保她们在工作日能上班及准时/提早抵达客户家lobby准备。

在接单时也必须先跟客户沟通好他们的需求和期待，才能合理的安排时间，这样才不会出现时间不够的问题。因为不可能做到一半走人，接下去做又会delay下一个客户的时间。

We invest more than 50% of our earnings into our kakak.

We’ve always believed that our kakak is our core product. If our product isn’t excellent, how can we deliver quality service to our neighbors?

My wife and I have gotten our hands dirty cleaning houses too. Honestly, it’s not easy cleaning someone else’s home. While we might cut corners or overlook things in our own house, however we must give 150% when cleaning a neighbour’s home to meet their expectations.

That’s why we pay our kakak competitive salaries, provide good accommodation, and ensure reasonable working hours(7 hours or less per day). This way, they can stay focused and deliver their best to the customers they serve.

Today bought chicken rice again from my-neighbour (Nai thong 100% premium chicken rice) and Anna’s spectacle is from our neighbour too (Proview optometrist- plaza Arkadia) ☺️

If there is a chance and our budget is allowed, we will prefer to spend money in our neighbours’ shop. My dad taught me饮水思源。meaning always remember who made us who we are today.

Is weird if I buy chicken rice or made spectacles from someone I don’t know or someone who didnt book our service once. That’s why we name ourselves My-Neighbour, not my-customer.com ❤️

Fews day ago, I was having a casual conversation with a grab driver. He told me nowadays kakak came to Malaysia and join a cleaning company just to get their customer data base. They will resign once they have enough of customers for herself.

It’s seems like not a secret anymore, even a grab driver knows about this. Although this consider not frequently happened in My-Neighbour, however what a sad statement I heard.

Let’s imagine a naive boss, put 200% effort to their customer, respond them even midnight or sunday, paying kakak with great salary, hostel, while other companies need to spend money to maintain their vehicles, heavy marketing cost and end up just to make sure the kakaks have enough of database to resign to work for her own, how sarcastic is it.

As an adult, we are not here to complain, but to say “Thank You and Love You” to the customer who always loyal to My-Neighbour. Thank you for believing in us that we can always hire and train a good housekeeper for you.
