Inspired by the efforts of local non-profit organisations in Kuching, Sarawak, AFFIRMATIVE was founded with the aim to overcome a significant gap between the support and training that NGOs were providing, and actual employment opportunities for locals who were unemployed or considered
low income earners. We serve as a link between NGOs and local employers, and offer skills development and ongoing
support in order to achieve long-term positive change in the social landscape of Kuching. AFFIRMATIVE is proud to announce working partnerships with Purple Lily, Persatuan Ibu Tunggal Sarawak (PITSA), Persatuan Kaum Wanita Batu Kawa、Sarawak Women for Women Society, Women`s Institute, Urban Poor, and Green Ribbon. We are currently in the process of connecting with more
organisations.
