1. SENIOR LABORATORY MANAGER (CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER)
Job Description
• To administer and to coordinate the technical activities and infrastructure related to the operation of the specialized laboratories.
• To develop and to implement laboratory policies and procedures.
• To manage and to coordinate operational policies and procedures; coordinate with research staff on issues which impact laboratory services.
• To maintain laboratory productivity by monitoring workload of functional areas, identifying peak and slack periods, making operational or staffing adjustment.
• To maintain liaison with investigators, research personnel and staff to solve specific operating problems and improve technical activities.
• To implement new programs, tests, methods, instrumentation, and procedures by investigating alternatives, preparing proposals, developing and performing parallel testing, and monitoring progress.
• To maintain quality check on laboratory safety.
• To assist in formulating and implementing the short and long-range goals for the operation of the laboratories.
• To plan and to schedule work for the group to ensure proper distribution of assignments.
• To carry out any other duties as instructed by the Management of OPHL.
Requirements
• Candidate must possess at least Degree/Master in related Lab Technologies, Biology, Chemistry or equivalent.
• At least 6 years of working experience.
• Familiar with ISO 17025 is an advantage.
• Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal skills and has worked in multicultural environment.
• Able to combine excellent technical and managerial skills with extensive experience of professional laboratory and/or retail minilab work.
• Fluent in English and Malay.
• Positive working attitude and can manage and maintain the dynamicity of a team.
• Possess own transport.
2. QUALITY MANAGER
Job Description
• To implement and to operate the quality system of ISO 17025 on a day-to-day basis.
• To administer the controlled document system, to compile the quality manual and to organise the review and audit of the quality system.
• To advise management on quality issues by virtue of his/her close familiarity with the standard and the organisation’s quality management system.
• To assist in maintaining quality check on laboratory safety.
• To assist in formulating and implementing the short and long-range goals for the operation of the laboratories.
• To carry out any other duties as instructed by the Management of OPHL.
Requirements
• Candidate must possess at least Degree/Master in related Lab Technologies, Biology, Chemistry or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience.
• Familiar with the implementation of ISO 17025 in both microbiology and/or analytical laboratories is a must.
• Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal skills and has worked in multicultural environment, with positive working attitude.
• Able to combine excellent technical and managerial skills with extensive experience of professional laboratory and/or retail minilab work.
• Fluent in English and Malay.
• Possess own transport.
3.TECHNICAL EXECUTIVE – MICROBIOLOGY/MOLECULAR/ANALYTICAL
Job Description
• To assist Technical Manager in the overall operations and testing activities in the Microbiology/Molecular/Analyticallaboratory and to ensure the smooth flow of operations.
• To assist in management and smooth running of microbiological/molecular/analytical assays and to provide high quality, reproducible diagnostics results including interpretation of test results.
• Responsible towards implementation of the necessary quality assurance requirement and various regulations set forth by recognized bodies to ensure compliance to ISO 17025.
• To ensure high quality test results and data are produced through reviewing and checking all the updated SOPs, Work Instructions (WI) and product test methods according to the latest requirements.
• To monitor and control records of storage and movement of raw materials, analytical reagents, buffers, media and glassware.
• To ensure disposal of clinical waste conform to the regulation set forth by the Department of Environment.
• To carry out any other duties as instructed by the Management of OPHL.
Requirements
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Microbiology/Molecular/Chemistry or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• English and Malay literate.
• Positive working attitude and can work independently with minimum supervision.
4. LAB TECHNICIAN
Job Description
• To assist Technical Executive in the overall operations and testing activities.
• To carry out routine tasks accurately and to follow strict methodologies in carrying out analyses.
• To prepare specimens and samples.
• To complete projects by assisting project team, attending and participating in group and project meetings.
• To maintain glassware by picking-up, cleaning, washing, sterilizing, and distributing.
• To follow and to ensure strict safety procedures and safety checks.
• To carry out any other duties as instructed by the Management of OPHL.
Requirements
• Preferably a man.
• Candidate must possess at least SPM certificate with credit in science subject.
• Have a D driving licence and can drive a van.
• English and Malay literate.
• Positive working attitude, responsible and can work independently with minimum supervision.
5. SALES AND MARKETING EXECUTIVE
Job Description
• Responsible for sales and marketing of all products and services.
• To identify and to develop new business opportunities.
• To execute sales and marketing plans to achieve sales objectives and profits.
• Required to meet existing and potential clients.
• Keep updated with latest development of market, industry and related areas.
Requirements
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Business and Marketing or equivalent (added knowledge in Lab, Medical Technology).
• At least 2 years of working experience.
• Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal skills and who has worked in multicultural environment.
• Fluent in English and Malay.
• Positive working attitude and can work independently with minimum supervision.
• Possess own transport.
6. ADMIN/HR EXECUTIVE
Job Description
• Full spectrum of Human Resources functions: recruitment, employee relations, welfare and benefit.
• Coordinate on matters pertaining to disciplinary and contract labour supply.
• Knowledge of Malaysia Labour Law/Employment Act will be an added value.
• Positive work attitude, good interpersonal & communication skills with all levels of employees, independent and committed to work.
Requirements
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Certificate in HR Management/ Business Admin or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience is a plus.
• Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal skills and who has worked in multicultural environment.
• Fluent in English and Malay.
• Positive working attitude and can work independently with minimum supervision.
