11 June 2026 โ Lembaga Zakat Negeri Kedah (LZNK) was honoured to participate in the Malaysia Philanthropy Conference 2026, held at Taming Sari 3 Ballroom, Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur.
The conference brought together key stakeholders from the philanthropy, social finance, corporate, and community development sectors to explore sustainable approaches and innovative solutions for strengthening social well-being and community resilience.
Representing LZNK was Mr. Mohamad Zaidi Bin Azizan, Chief Collection Officer, who served as a panellist in the special session entitled: โFinancing What Next After Philanthropic Financing โ Scalable and Self-Sustaining Financing.โ
During the discussion, Mr. Mohamad Zaidi shared LZNKโs experience and perspectives on how Islamic Social Finance can serve as a catalyst for sustainable community development through instruments such as zakat, waqf, and sadaqah. He also highlighted the importance of strategic partnerships, innovation, and long-term approaches in enhancing social impact and creating sustainable outcomes for communities.
LZNKโs participation reflects its continued commitment to advancing the Islamic Social Finance ecosystem as a powerful mechanism for addressing social challenges, empowering communities, and driving inclusive and sustainable development.
As the landscape of philanthropy continues to evolve, collaboration and innovative financing models remain essential in ensuring that social impact initiatives are scalable, sustainable, and capable of delivering lasting benefits to society.

11 Jun 2026 โ Lembaga Zakat Negeri Kedah (LZNK) telah berbesar hati menyertai Malaysia Philanthropy Conference 2026 yang berlangsung di Taming Sari 3 Ballroom, Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur. Persidangan berprestij ini menjadi platform pertemuan pelbagai pemegang taruh daripada sektor filantropi, kewangan sosial, korporat dan pembangunan komuniti untuk membincangkan pendekatan serta penyelesaian mampan dalam memperkukuh kesejahteraan masyarakat.
Penyertaan LZNK diwakili oleh Encik Mohamad Zaidi Bin Azizan, Ketua Pegawai Kutipan LZNK, yang tampil sebagai panelis bagi sesi khas bertajuk:

Dalam sesi tersebut, beliau berkongsi pengalaman dan perspektif LZNK mengenai bagaimana Kewangan Sosial Islam mampu menjadi pemangkin kepada pembangunan komuniti yang mampan melalui instrumen seperti zakat, wakaf dan sedekah, di samping memperkukuhkan impak sosial menerusi kerjasama strategik, inovasi serta pendekatan jangka panjang.
Penyertaan ini mencerminkan komitmen LZNK dalam memperkasakan ekosistem Kewangan Sosial Islam yang bukan sahaja membantu golongan memerlukan, malah berupaya mewujudkan pembangunan yang lestari dan berimpak tinggi kepada masyarakat.
