A lot of new agents hear that and mark the lead dead. Diego does not. He treats it as a scheduling problem, not a rejection.

His reasoning is that once someone has actually talked to you, you are no longer a stranger to them. That is worth something. So instead of ending the call, he moves it. A different time, a different day, a callback he controls.

The gap between an average week and a good one is usually sitting inside those calls.

Diego's rule for working from home is simple. Get to a place where it is just you and the computer, and put the phone down.

He is blunt about why. Whenever he feels the pull to get distracted, he tells himself he is wasting his own time. The way he frames it: imagine sitting there for eight or nine hours and getting paid nothing. That time is gone and you are not getting it back.

So he takes advantage of every call. He even keeps running his pitch after someone hangs up on him, because that pitch is not for them. It is practice for the next one.

A quiet room and a closed door do more for your numbers than most people expect.

Diego was working construction in Mexico when he got an interview at a call center. He had no dress clothes and no shoes, and no money to buy either.

The day before the interview he was leaving the construction site, looked down, and saw a pair of old work shoes a previous worker had left behind. He cleaned them up, wore them to the interview, and got the job.

He is honest about what came after. That first call center put him through a training period paying about 1,500 pesos, and for months he was selling tamales and still doing construction on the side so he could send money home. Eventually he was able to bring his family and rent a place of his own.

He had also spent that time taking computer classes and working on his English.

One of the simplest things Diego did to improve was stop trying to figure everything out alone.

He paid attention in meetings. He listened to what the stronger agents were already doing and applied it, instead of waiting for someone to hand him a script. And the managers he was learning from had taken calls themselves, so what they taught came off the floor rather than out of a manual.

There is a number in this clip worth sitting with. A brand new agent averages somewhere between half an appointment and one appointment for every eight hours on the phones. That is the starting line for almost everybody. What separates people is what they do with the months after it.

You must have your own computer.

✅ Windows 10 or newer
✅ At least 8 GB RAM

✅ Reliable internet
✅ Around 20 Mbps internet speed or better
✅ Quiet and professional work-from-home setup

🕒 **Schedule:**
Monday through Friday
40 hours per week
Fully remote / virtual position

💰 **𝐏𝐚𝐲:**
Starting base salary (WEEKLY): **$3,500 MXN**
Plus **$300 MXN Attendance**
Plus additional bonuses/commissions depending on performance and results.
