Today, 26 September 2026, we would like to celebrate and appreciate Ruth Chirwa , the owner of Uppie Collection and the founder of the Breaking Barriers Event in Mzuzu.
Ruth is a woman living with a disability, but she has never allowed her disability to stop her dreams. She designs beautiful national and international outfits worn by many well-known people. She has also managed to organise a big event that gives other people living with disabilities a chance to show the world what they can do.
As Malawi Modeling Agency to Africa , we would like to say thank you, Ruth Chirwa an UPPIE COLLECTION, for continuing to organise Breaking Barriers every year.
Your event reminds us that disability is not inability. You are giving people a platform, hope and a reason to believe in themselves.
