The Sala Del Conte is one of the most character-filled rooms in our palazzo. Once worn by time as the palazzo fell into disrepair, the room underwent a meticulous restoration to bring its soul back to life. The coffered ceiling and its five historic coats of arms, each belonging to the ancestral families of Count Alfred Manduca, were carefully revived by expert conservators. Frescos just above the flooring were uncovered and restored, reawakening details that had been hidden for decades. To complete the room’s elegance, bespoke silk wall coverings were commissioned and crafted by Italian textile specialists, designed exclusively for the space.

Today, the Sala Del Conte serves as a refined meeting room and a serene, intimate space where many brides and grooms prepare for their wedding day; surrounded by history, beauty, and craftsmanship reborn.

Once the main ballroom of our historic palazzo, the Sala Nobile has always held a special place in Domus Zamittello’s story. Here we share a rare glimpse into its past, showing the room as it stood in disrepair after the Second World War, beside how it looks today.

During our nine-year restoration, the Sala Nobile was carefully brought back to its former grandeur. The original & unique coffered ceiling was lovingly restored, the original pink adorned walls were uncovered beneath old red fabric, and key historical elements, including the wooden doors and stone flooring were preserved.

Today, the Sala Nobile shines once more, honouring its heritage as the palazzo’s original ballroom while welcoming guests to create new memories.
