ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ မေလ ၆ ရက်နဲ့ ၇ ရက်နေ့က ရန်ကုန်မြို့၊ Eravati Hotel မှာ Norstar ရဲ့ Officers Conference ကို အောင်အောင်မြင်မြင်ကျင်းပနိုင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။
ဒီပွဲကို သင်္ဘောသားအရာရှိ ၁၀၀ နီးပါး တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြပြီး 'Progressive Strategic Growth' ဆိုတဲ့ ခေါင်းစဉ်အောက်မှာ သင်္ဘောသားတစ်ယောက်အနေနဲ့ရော၊ ခေါင်းဆောင်တစ်ယောက်အနေနဲ့ပါ အဖွဲ့အစည်းတစ်ခုလုံး ဘယ်လိုတိုးတက်အောင် လုပ်ဆောင်ကြမလဲဆိုတာကို ရင်းရင်းနှီးနှီး ဆွေးနွေးဖလှယ်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။
ပွဲအတွင်းမှာ ကျွန်တော်တို့ Co-owner Tom Bonehill ကလည်း Norstar ရဲ့ ရည်မှန်းချက်အသစ်ကို မိတ်ဆက်ပေးခဲ့ပါတယ်...

Purpose-based partnership ဆိုတာ စာချုပ်တစ်ခုထက် ပိုမိုနက်ရှိုင်းပြီး အဓိပ္ပာယ်ရှိတဲ့ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုတစ်ခု ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒီလို ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုတွေက ကျွန်တော်တို့ရဲ့ နေ့စဉ်ဘဝ (မိသားစု၊ လုပ်ငန်းခွင်၊ သင်္ဘောပေါ်) ကစလို့ Customer တွေနဲ့ ဆက်ဆံရေးအထိ နေရာတိုင်းရှိနေမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
ကျွန်တော်တို့ရဲ့ Core Values တွေဖြစ်တဲ့ Integrity, Community, Quality, Pride, Accountability နဲ့ Resilience တို့က ဒီလို လက်တွဲလုပ်ဆောင်မှုတိုင်းမှာ အမြဲတမ်း လမ်းပြပေးနေမှာပါ။
ဒီပွဲကို တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြတဲ့ အရာရှိတွေအားလုံးဟာ ဒီရည်မှန်းချက်တွေကို ကိုယ်တိုင်ကြားသိခဲ့ရသူတွေဖြစ်ပြီး ခရီးစဉ်တိုင်း၊ ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်တိုင်းမှာ လက်တွေ့အကောင်အထည်ဖော်သွားကြမယ့်သူတွေပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
Progressive Strategic Growth ဆိုတာ ကျွန်တော်တို့ လူတွေဆီကနေပဲ
စတင်တည်ဆောက်ရတဲ့ အရာပါ။ ဒီ ၂ ရက်တာအတွင်း ရရှိခဲ့တဲ့ ဆွေးနွေးမှုတွေ၊ အကြံဉာဏ်တွေကိုလည်း မကြာခင် ဆက်လက်မျှဝေပေးသွားမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
On 6 and 7 May, close to 100 of our officers came together at Eravati Hotel in Yangon — united under one theme: Progressive Strategic Growth. Over two days, we explored what it truly means to grow — as seafarers, as leaders, and as an organisation.
But the moment that anchored everything came from our Co-owner, Tom Bonehill. He introduced our upgraded mission: "To Perform with Integrity and Build Purpose based Partnerships for Positive Impact."
A purpose-based partnership is more than a contract or a commercial arrangement. It is a collaboration where both sides work toward something meaningful creating value that goes beyond the numbers. Partnerships exist across our lives, at home, in the office, onboard ships and with our customers. As always our 6 values of Integrity, Community, Quality, Pride, Accountability and Resilience should guide us with these Partnerships.
Nearly 100 officers in that room heard this message. And they are the ones who will bring it to life — every voyage, every decision, every interaction.
