Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java / VB.Net Programmer to join our development team and work on software applications for our Japanese-based clients.
The ideal candidate should be proficient in Java and VB.Net programming languages, with a strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize applications using Java and VB.Net.
- Collaborate with project managers, and other developers to understand project requirements and deliver quality solutions on time.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure best practices and adherence to coding standards.
- Work with databases (SQL Server, MySQL, or similar) for data manipulation and integration.
- Assist in testing, debugging, and deploying applications.
- Communicate with Japanese partners, including participation in meetings and progress updates (some Japanese language proficiency may be required).
- Contribute to continuous improvement processes, providing innovative ideas for system enhancements and optimizations.
- Adhere to company policies, project timelines, and coding standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Java programming (3+ years preferred).
- Solid experience with VB.Net programming (2+ years preferred).
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs) and frameworks such as Spring (for Java).
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, etc.), including SQL queries and database design.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git, SVN, or similar.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Japanese-language software development or working with Japanese clients.
- Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N4 or higher).
- Experience with other programming languages or frameworks (e.g., C #, Angular, Python) is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and CI/CD tools is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of software development experience, including work with Java and VB.Net.

Working Day - Monday to Friday
OFF Day - Saturday & Sunday.
