Singapore မှာ Myanmar Foreign Worker တယောက်အတွက် Work Permit လျှောက်ရင် ဘာတွေလိုလဲ 🇸🇬🇲🇲

✅ 1. Employer Must Apply on Your Behalf
You cannot apply for a Work Permit by yourself — your employer in Singapore must submit the application to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

✅ 2. Nationality & Eligibility
Work Permits are available for semi-skilled or unskilled workers from approved source countries, including Myanmar.

✅ 3. Basic Age & Eligibility
You must meet the minimum age requirement (usually 18 years or older).
You must be outside Singapore when the Work Permit application is submitted; entry into Singapore is only allowed after approval (In-Principle Approval letter).

✅ 4. Employer Responsibilities
Your employer must handle several requirements before and after the Work Permit is approved:

◼ Apply & Pay Fees
Submit the WP application online with your written consent.
Pay application fees (e.g., about S$35).

◼ Security Bond
For non-Malaysian WP holders, the employer must buy a security bond (usually S$5,000).

◼ Levy & Quota
Employers must pay the Foreign Worker Levy and have sufficient quota to hire foreign workers.

◼ Insurance & Healthcare
Employers must provide medical insurance and often a Primary Care Plan (P*P) for workers.

◼ Accommodation
Employers must provide proper, MOM-compliant accommodation if required.

✅ 5. After Approval
Once the Work Permit is approved and you arrive in Singapore:

🔹 Medical examination — You may need to undergo a medical check within the first few weeks.
🔹 Pass Issuance — The employer gets the permit issued, and you may need to register fingerprints and photo.
🔹 Work Permit Card — You receive a physical or digital Work Permit card.

📝 Helpful Notes
1. The permit is tied to your employer and job; you cannot change jobs without a new permit.
2. Employers must comply with wage, housing and employment conditions set by MOM.
3. Work Permits are usually for semi-skilled / basic roles, not professional positions (which use S Pass or Employment Pass).
