Tsimöka is a cluster composed by 5 experienced Malagasy companies operating in handicraft. The main objective of these companies is to exchange and mutualize skilss so as jointly develop, create common collections of fashion accessories and home decoration objects and together prospect new markets. It gathers and masters ancient and traditional manual know-how such as weaving, braiding, recycling
various materials (textile, aluminium), working horn, embroidering. Tsimöka uses these techniques in different ways as to come up to the most exclusive and high-end products. Our production are made locally and eco-friendly. Skilled artisans living in villages around Antananarivo are actively involved in the whole process. This collaboration brings work to hundreds and hamlets and allowst their inhabitants to have better living (food, schooling, accomodations) thanks to fairly paid employment.
