π³οΈ Ship Manager - Ro-Pax Fleet π³οΈ
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Ship Manager to support the technical management of our Ro-Pax fleet. You will ensure smooth vessel operation, maintenance, and repair, collaborating with senior technical personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ π οΈ Manage technical operations, maintenance, and repairs of Ro-Pax vessels.
β’ π Conduct vessel inspections and audits.
β’ ποΈ Develop maintenance schedules and repair plans.
β’ π§ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.
β’ πΌ Manage budgets for maintenance and repair projects.
β’ βοΈ Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and safety standards.
β’ π Maintain records using fleet management software.
Qualifications:
β’ π Certificate of competency as 2nd Engineer or higher (C/E preferred).
β’ βοΈ Strong background in marine engineering systems and standards.
β’ π§ Analytical and problem-solving skills.
β’ π In-depth understanding of maritime regulations and safety standards.
β’ π Experience in Senior Engineering (2/E or higher) seagoing rank or shoreside technical role.
β’ π» Proficient with fleet management software.
β’ π£οΈ Excellent communication skills.
β’ πͺ Confident, experienced, and self-motivated.

Location:

Preferred Experience:
β’ π’ Experience with Ro-Ro, Ro-Pax, and HSC vessels is desirable, but other marine backgrounds considered.
