Business thinking and essential entrepreneurship skills have to be put already in the childhood in order to become a successful entrepreneur.

The promotion of business thinking and knowledge is essential already from the childhood (school age) in order to obtain necessary abilities to become as entrepreneurs and successfully create business startups in later stage. Within the project will create employment opportunities by supporting development of business environment through actions encouraging people, in particular children and youth

, to start businesses and develop new business ideas with cross border character. Public libraries especially those located in least developed border municipalities shall act as promoters of economic growth in a local municipality. Using their information, technology, human, resource and networking opportunities municipal libraries can be of benefit for the development of local entrepreneurship, innovations and the economic activity of local society. The project approach will lead to a positive growth of newly established businesses in the Programme area, as well as improved business environment in general providing improved services and infrastructure for a business support. Therefore the cross border cooperation will encourage business suport libraries to promote and support the creation of new business support initiatives, in particular having the cross border character. The project will also focus on the necessary training for youth and choldren to obtain entrepreneurial skills and promote entrepreneurial spirit. This project will help to grow up a new generation of entreprenerus being able to start cross border businesses and develop business aborad in export markets.

On February 22 Gailīši Parish Library was officially opened!!

The head of the library Mrs.Ilga Pētersone was congratulated by Parliamentary Secretary of The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development, Mr.Artūrs Toms Plešs, Executive Director of Zemgale Planning region, Mr.Valdis Veips, as well as Chairman Mr.Arnolds Jātnieks and deputies of the Bauska County Council, the head of the Bauska Central Library, the representatives of Uzvara Elementary School and other greeters.

At the opening, a part of results of Interreg V-A Latvia–Lithuania Programme 2014–2020 project “Business library network for children and youth cross-border business competence building (Business bag)”, Nr.LLI-115 were presented, general information about project was provided.
