Jake Snell, a Ph.D. student at the University of Toronto, joined at SK T-Brain as a Research Intern!
He gave a talk about his recent works on few-shot learning and generative model, published in NIPS 2017 and ICLR 2018.
We hope he enjoys his internship! 😀

T-Brain에서 연구 인턴으로 참여한 Jake Snell이 현재까지의 연구와 최근 관심 분야에 대한 세미나를 진행했습니다.
Jake는 현재 University of Toronto, Vector Institute에서 박사 과정을 밟고 있으며, few-shot learning 및 generative model를 연구하고 있습니다. 관련된 주제로 NIPS와 ICLR등 세계적인 학회에 논문을 게재하였습니다.
T-Brain에서 인턴 기간 동안 더욱 다양하고 심도있는 연구를 기대합니다!

Happy to announce that our paper, "Bilinear Attention Networks" is accepted for a poster presentation at ! 🎉
Bilinear attention networks are modeling of two multi-channel inputs to get bilinear attention maps considering every interaction among them. This method achieves the new state-of-the-art on VQA 2.0, Flickr30k Entities, and VizWiz datasets.
This project is led by our Research Scientist Jin-Hwa Kim (T-Brain), collaborating with Jaehyun Jun (SNU) and Byoung-Tak Zhang (SNU).

쌍일차 주의 신경망은 쌍일차 주의 맵을 구하기 위해 서로 다른 두 다채널 입력 간의 모든 상호작용을 이용하여 학습하는 새로운 형태의 주의 신경망 입니다. 이 방법을 이용해 VQA 2.0, Flickr30k Entities, 그리고 VizWiz 등 멀티모달 데이터셋에서 최고 성능을 보였습니다.
