Position: Accountant

Job Description:

• Handle bookkeeping into the QuickBooks or accounting software;
• Perform the closing of accounts on a timely manner;
• Perform bank reconciliation and other balance items to ensure the correctness of each account;
• Input transactions into e-filing and submit to tax department on a timely manner;
• Maintain proper fixed asset schedule and ensure that all fixed assets are properly tagged with asset code;
• Perform physical check of fixed assets twice a year to ensure existence and reconcile to the fixed asset schedule. Any differences need to be investigated and make necessary adjustments;
• Maintain proper prepayment and accrual listing and recognize the expenses and revenue correctly;
• Issue invoices to clients and follow up payment in accordance with the credit period;
• Process purchase request and make payment in accordance with company policy, procedures and as per the credit period allowed by vendors/suppliers;
• Any other tasks assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting; fresh graduate would also welcome;
• At least 1-year experience in accounting/bookkeeping;
• Experience with e-filling would be an asset;
• Basic understanding the fundamentals accounting principles;
• Accuracy, attention to details, initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks;
