Breeder Production Farm (Pen) Manager Job Lagos, Nigeria

Position Summary

The Farm (Pen) Manager is responsible for the day-to-day technical and operational management of assigned breeder farms and production units. The position carries full responsibility for flock performance, implementation of company standards, staff supervision, biosecurity compliance, and achievement of production targets.

The successful candidate will ensure the consistent ex*****on of breeder management programs from placement through production, with particular emphasis on flock uniformity, body weight control, fertility performance, bird welfare, and hatching egg quality. The role requires a highly disciplined, hands-on manager capable of leading production teams, identifying operational risks, and promptly and effectively implementing corrective actions.

Qualifications
1. Degree or Diploma in Poultry Production, Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5–10 years of practical experience in commercial breeder or parent stock poultry operations.
3. Demonstrated experience managing breeder farms, rearing operations, or production units.
4. Strong understanding of breeder management principles and poultry production systems.
5. Experience with Ross 308 or similar parent stock breeds.
6. Experience working in Africa or other emerging-market poultry environments.
7. Training in poultry health management, biosecurity, and production systems.
8. Experience using poultry production software and farm management systems.
9. Strong leadership and team management skills.
10. Hands-on operational management capability.
11. Excellent organizational and planning skills.
12. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
13. High level of accountability and attention to detail.
14. Ability to perform effectively in demanding farm environments.
15. Strong communication and reporting skills.

Work Location: Awasi, Kisumu

Ceabud Engineering Services Ltd is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Welder to join our quarry operations at our Awasi site.

Key Requirements

1. Must have proven experience working as a Welder, preferably in a quarry, construction, or heavy-equipment environment.
2. Must be able to operate and work confidently with MIG welding machines.
3. Ability to carry out fabrication, repair, and maintenance of quarry equipment and structures.
4. Strong practical problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box when designing and fabricating solutions.
5. Ability to read and understand basic fabrication drawings and measurements.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a workshop/maintenance team.
7. Good understanding of welding safety procedures and safe working practices.
8. Experience with heavy-duty steel fabrication will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Welding and fabrication of quarry equipment, structures, guards, chutes, frames, and other steel components.
2. Repair and modification of machinery and equipment as required.
3. Design and fabricate practical solutions to mechanical and operational challenges.
4. Carry out welding repairs promptly to minimize equipment downtime.
